Autumn Hour - Drummer Died
Vocalist of the American progressive metal band Autumn Hour, Alan Tecchio, shared sad news about the passing of the band's drummer Dave Lescinsky.
Alan Tecchio writes: ''Super bummed out at the loss of my good friend and former bandmate and roommate Dave Lescinsky. Dave was bigger than life and had a heart of gold. My co-author Frank White and I had a long talk with Dave just last week as all three of us were researching some bands for our book Jersey Metal. Dave had an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Metal and he was a massive help figuring out some of the musical lineage of various bands and players in the scene. I am without words to be honest as this happened so suddenly and it is pretty hard to digest. Ever since my dad passed this past September it seems like more and more good people are departing from their mortal coils. Do not feel bad for me or his family nor his many, many friends. For sure we are all missing him terribly at this time but instead, do what Dave would want you to- appreciate every single moment of life you are gifted and spread love to those around you. None of us will get out of here alive anyway so make your stay here count. Here are some pictures of Dave with the band we had together in 2009-Autumn Hour (photos by Carly Kent). He was one of the most inventive and tasty drummers I've ever had the pleasure of playing with and he also showed that on the two Hades releases we did together- SaviorSelf and The Downside as well as on his own Murder League All Stars release. Rest in peace my talented, dear friend."
