Ataraxie - Announce European Tour With Alestorm, Launch Crowdfunding
French extreme doomers Ataraxie are excited to announce that they will tour in the major venues throughout European countries. Starting in May, filling the support slot are going to be the Scots Alestorm. Tour dates to be announced soon. As such tours aren't cheap, Ataraxie will beg a little money from their fans to be able to hit the road. If you want to support Ataraxie and let them live the dream on the road, click here.
"We are thrilled to be soon on the road with such music geniouses', says Jonathan Thery, Ataraxie’s singer / bass player. "Alestorm’s music is such a new paradigm in Metal, we couldn’t pass on the opportunity of opening for them !"
"People may not realize, but Alestorm’s music and stage props have become a huge influence for us all in the band", says Pierre Sénécal, Ataraxie’s drummer.
"Their lyrics are so deep, it moves us a lot, and you will find their mark on Ataraxie’s, next album" adds Jonathan Thery.
"We received this opportunity by email. At first we were surprised, but it seemed they really wanted to have us onboard. For only 724,4€ a day, we will be able to ride with Alestorm on their duck-decorated tourbus, as we managed to lower the price a little by promising we’d clean the toilets every single day. Frankly, for so cheap, it’s a steal", says Frédéric Patte-Brasseur, Ataraxie’s guitarist.
"Since we cannot afford so much financial effort, the number of gigs we can do on this tour will be linked to the success of our crowdfunding. We have interesting rewards, such as letting a fan pet and care for my two beloved cats while I’m on tour", he adds.
