After more than 15 years of collaboration, Ad Patres and their original drummer Alsvid decided it was time to part ways. Replacing Alsvid, as a new permanent drummer in the ranks, is going to be Thibault Faijan (Stormhaven).

Statement from the band: "After nearly 20 years of collaboration, the band and their original drummer Alsvid decided it was time to go their separate ways. Alsvid's drum work on our forthcoming album Unbreathable will leave an unforgettable legacy of brutality in Ad Patres sound. We are proud of the achievements made together on our 3 albums and multiple live shows."
