A shrug that goes on for six and a half minutes. I wish the video was goofier, at least then something about this would be entertaining.

I've not really paid much attention to this band's material since From Afar tbh. Unfortunately I found they peaked at their debut (which is arguably the greatest folk metal album of all time), although the three that followed that were great and all, they were still never going to match the almighty standards of that classic debut. I suspect after listening to whatever they conjure up next I'll just end up once again reliving the glory of the debut, despite how good this album may turn out to be.

For me, Ensiferum and Wintersun have had a similar downfall and became commercial sell out cheapjack vodkas.

I don't think this is that bad. I think the song writing is good, and all the classic Ensiferum ingredients are there, except for a guitar solo. That would have made this song way better. Therefore, I think the album would be good if this is a representative sample from it. Also, the music video for "Winter Strom Vigilantes" was ridiculous. Regardless, I have it pre-ordered.
