so which is it? imo the best version is still the original, because while the drums aren't as over the top as on Death's and Angra's versions, the vocals and all the instruments complement each other perfectly, and the sound is not as hollow as on the Angra song. not to mention the best vocal performance by far out of the list.

they're all good but the original is more than that.

I voted for Death's version ... 'cause ... it's obvious that the original it's the best ... but after these one, Death's version it's AMAZING ...

yes i have heard it , it cant match the original. i have also heard angra version which is so saad. Death is an excellent band for sure, but their cover is simply nothing when matched with an original

the vote result is so strange. maybe because judas priest has sang the original version has more votes. but i believe that Death's is better. guitar solo of schuldiner is so nice, and also drummer has a great rolling. i think Death's is better than others by far

I haven't listen to all the versions yet, so I will abstain from voting for now. But I can't help loving Chuck's vocals in the begging of the song where he starts screaming along with the guitar riff. Rob Halford doesn't do that, and it already sounds different.

Hmm.. I voted for JP, cause, originals are always the best, I dont know, and its a kick ass song, really. And vocals are better than Death's there.
On the other side, as you mentioned, Death's versions is more agressive, drums are faster, Chuck screamed it surprisingly well, too. I like it very much.

For the later 2 covers, I didnt know they were made, I got to check that out.

I voted Priest, eventhough I like the Death and Angra covers as well. Haven't heard the Biomechanical one, but I can't imagine it beating Priest's version

It is very hard for me to call someone elses version of a song better than the original because its "THE original." I love Priest's version a lot but i give the nod to Chuck and the gang for turning it up full blast and making it as powerful as it can be. Great track by all parties though//

I found the drumming on it to be quite thunderous and the vocals aren't too bad I don't think. The problem I have with Death's cover is that it's really too similar to the original. Sure it's been made more "extreme" enough to notice that it's not the same thing, but I don't think it really expands on the original enough.

As the Death cover and the Judas Priest original are the only ones I've heard I guess my vote goes to Judas Priest.

I voted for Death. I think its version is bruatl and killer. They put aggressiveness in that cover, So, every member made a great job that time. Judas is good too, but I'm one or these people who think that some bands make better versions with covers that the original ones.
