Imo it's Manowar's The Crown and the Ring, it's pretty much the most epic song i've ever heard, that's not saying it isn't cheesy and cringy as hell. songs that aren't as cringy but still epic as fuck:

From Manowar i would name "Hymn Of The Immortal Warriors"...the last album overall sucks, but this one is great and epic as hell Valhalla

hmm yeah and Travel In Stygian and Dante's Inferno now that i think about it(if you prefer Damien over Travel and Dante's though there is something wrong with you )

anyway pretty much the most epic music i've ever heard is the Gettysburg Trilogy but that is fucking half an hour long, and it drags on and on and on and on, if you're not in the mood for it you might get like.... extremely bored.

Candlemass has loads of non-epic stuff too.
Manowar has some epic songs. Doomsword is mostly epic as well, Isen Torr, Atlantean Kodex, Virgin Steele, Forsaken, Solstice, Battleroar, Manilla Road, Scald, Warlord, Dantesco, Airged L'Amh, The Gates Of Slumber, Slough Feg, Brocas Helm, Jag Panzer, Omen, Procession,some Iron Maiden songs, but not one band is 100% epic.

What about Fates Warning - Still Remains - off their Disconnected cd? Over 16 minutes long it is definitely one of the better Prog Metal songs I've ever heard, the song flows easily from beginning to end, leaving you wanting more!

it is twilight of only one Thunder God, but i agree it is great song...i would add "Hermod's Ride To Hell" by Amon Amarth
