Technically, no. You're posting something relevant to the topic at hand - but it's a little spammy for sure, in that three separate sections of the site don't need to know the exact same thing.

Great album, but the electronic parts in the last song ruined this album for me.

Just got it as a Christmas present (yeah a bit late, but I was in Finland the past 8 days) ... it's sooo unbelievably good

Loving this album! First time i've heard of this band, they kinda sound like a folkier version of the early-era Mayhem. Might check out their other albums!

Somehow this one doesn't click with me like Arntor and Likferd do. Strange, because many apparently consider this album to be their best one. Still great stuff. Not many bands are as consistent in terms of quality as Windir, that's for sure.

Ignore my last comment. Spun this around 5 times now and it's totally awesome. This might very well be the most consistent band ever, for me. All of their material, especially their last 3 albums, are excellent.

Can't help it, it's too tempting sometimes. But it's not like I quoted him, so he might not even read what I wrote...

RIP. These guys were great and nobody else sounds quite like them. Something about how they combined those epic tremolo marches with those hypnotic clean treble leads just works so well.

Your right, no other metal band out there has a sound like that. Still to this day and since 2013 it's one of, if not my all time favourite melody.

It's such a shame what happened to their singer, for the music these guys produced they deserved a bigger discography.

I agree whit you, well its bands 1th in English, artwork is super good as BM artworks should be, but music somehow in last part of album it lost somewhere to pop, and softness I dunno why I had such leafing, but opening half was super good, more aggressive , less melodic or aggressive melodic if we can say so.

Fun and danceable black metal. Perfect fusion of folk elements and this is what Emperor wished to achieve in their overrated in the nightside eclipse.

Not a single bad track on this one. Incredible Black Metal fully deserving of its reputation. Dance Of Mortal Lust is the stand-out song IMO - Todeswalzer, The Spiritlord, Heidra and Journey To The End are also all fantastic.

9.4/10 for me

This is near perfect. Every song is excellent and unique, every riff every melody every twist is catching and perfectly placed. The album flows like an epic unstoppable ride and denotes a deep musical instinct through and through. Deserves all the praise and more.

Very nice black metal! I was a bit iffy on the vocals at first, but this is some really nice musicianship. All the songs are pretty awesome and flow well, but the standout ones for me are, as many have mentioned here already, "Dance Of Mortal Lust" and "Journey To The End"

I'm glad you discovered and liked this album, I've not listened to this in ages, I used to really like it and listened to it often. The melodies are incredible, and there's not a single track on here I don't enjoy. "The Spiritlord", "Heidra", "Journey To The End" and "Dance Of Mortal Lust" are my favourites in that order if I had to pick.

After all these years, this really is my favorite black metal album. I find myself spinning this entire album so much when I need to focus.
I heard "Journey to the End" and "Heidra" 15 years ago, it really changed my perspective on extreme metal and lead me into a journey through extreme music that is still ongoing.
