Everyone I just want to see you post your favorite death metal in general albums that never ever get old. Some of my favorites are All Shall Perish's The Price Of Existence and Awaken The Dreamers, The Facless's albums Planetary Duality and Akeldama. Also Miserations new album The Mirror Shadow never gets old. Also old school death metal. Like Sepultura's Arise and Beneath The Remains. Also pretty much all of Death's discography haha.

I would say Morbid Angel's Covenant, Tomb of the Mutilated by Cannibal Corpse, and Effigy of the Forgotten are the top three. Formulas Fatal to the Flesh, Failures for Gods, Vile, Diabolical Conquest, and Monstrosity's Millenium are also up there. These albums revolve into my cd player very frequently, even though I've had each for awhile and have yet to get sick of them.

For me: -Gorefest: Mindloss -Entombed: Left Hand Path and Clandestine -At The Gates: The Red In The Sky Is Ours -Gorguts: Considered Dead -Paradise Lost: Lost Paradise -Nocturnus:The Key -Benediction: The Grand Leveller -Deicide: Deicide and Legion -Vital Remains: Let Us Pray and Forever Underground -Obituary: Slowly We Rot and Cause Of Death -Morbid Angel: Altars Of Madness and Blessed Are The Sick -Vomitory: Raped In Their Own Blood -Malevolent Creation: The Ten Commandments Pffft...this is what comes to mind in a faw seconds, this list is endless... Hypocrisy, Death, Sinister, Bolt Thrower, endless I say! Do not think I'm an "old-skool fanboy". I also like modern death but when you say: albums that never ever get old, I think of albums that are old cause otherwise you can't know if they get old or not or something

Not a huge death metal guy, but I do have a few I hold quite dear... Cryptopsy - Once Was Not Bloodbath - Resurrection Through Carnage Hail Of Bullets - Of Frost And War HoB & Bloodbath both have nice little grooves. Bloodbath I liked the sparse, crusty production they had on that album, as I've said many times before, it makes me think of cheesy b-grade zombie movies. Hail of Bullets is just crushingly heavy. With Cryptopsy I like the earthy production and the little jazzy bits thrown into the insanity. Their last good album...

But why the hell does the OP mention Sepultura's Arise and Beneath The Remains as old school death metal? Both are pure unadultered thrash it's like calling Slayer's Hell Awaits and Reign In Blood old school death metal.

Necrovore - Divus De Mortuus Not really an album, but a demo that will rip most other stuff out there to pieces. Asphyx - The Rack Some of the murkiest death metal ever released. Highly reccomended. Possessed - Open The Gates A great piece of riffy, thrashy and really murky death metal. One of the best albums in the genre. Ripping Corpse - Dreaming With The Dead Again with the thrash/death. This one is simply vicious. Master - Master Old school death metal with an emphasis on the metal. Nihilist - Premature Autopsy Another demo, this one being classic Swedish dm.

I don't have that many, but Yyrkoon - Occult Medicine Vader - Litany Albeit that both of the albums are a bit thrashy as well, but they qualify more than enough for quality death metal.
