I'm fairly new to the world of post-rock... in fact, this is the first I've heard of the genre, and I have to say, I'm impressed. This is a ride into the mind of one tripped-out dude. RK has made one killer album here and it will not disappoint.

For the record, I love the band name. With that out of the way, let's talk about the music.

The intro track is long - 11 minutes and 30 seconds long, to be precise. No, you shouldn't get scared by the length, it is one killer track. The song has great riffs and the drums follow suit, even if it is a drum machine. RK changes it up throughout the song, and the entire album, so it doesn't end up sounding like a Sunn O))) release.

I love the recorded audio track in the background of "Child Of The Moon". It adds greatly to the atmospheric feel in this album, but let's not beat around the bush, we all know the main focus of this album is the guitar - which is very well played. RK plays flawlessly on this album; the riffs are simple but powerful, and they keep you waiting for more. The guitar adds a touch of perfection to this great album. The drum machine is as good, if not better, than an actual human drummer. It plays simple, but fitting beats.

Now, usually when I listen to anything instrumental I think, "Boy, that was a good album, but it could have been better with a good vocalist." With this album, that isn't the case. It's instrumental music made to be instrumental, not just regular music without a vocalist. This is top notch musicianship at work.

Overall, this - I feel - is a very good way to get into either post-rock or instrumental music in general. It's a great release, and one I would not miss out on if I were you.

Highlights: "Nebula, My Love", "Aldebaran"
