Tool - Plan To Record New Album In June/July
Danny Carey, the drummer of US progressive metal act Tool, has stated in a recent interview with his drum sponsors Vic Firth that the band plans to start the tracking for their new album in June/July. He speculates that recording, mixing and mastering could take around four months and so the record could be ready at the end of the year.

Either Tool started doing far too many drugs to make actual music versus noise, or I've stopped taking enough drugs to continue to find that kind of thing interesting. /DBC

That's awesome, I should definitely pick it up when it comes out, thank god I wasn't a Tool fan in 2006, the last time they released new material, because the anticipation would have pulverized me.
