...The album? It leaked a while back, I gave it four or five listens and literally nothing about it was interesting at all. At first you hear the first song and think "aw yeah, Vitus" because of the guitar tone, but then there are precisely 0 awesome riffs on the album. I cannot for the life of me remember how any of the songs go.

Jokes don't always work well over the internet. Unless you're in an emo band, then everyone thinks you're a joke.

Extremely mediocre. Only clocking in at 33 minutes of which the last 3 minutes are a total waste of time, totally filler.

I don't understand the raving this album seems to get all over the board both on the Net and in metal mags.

Oh yeah, I am a HUGE Vitus fan.

There are a lot of Vitus songs that epitomize the spirit of good old doom metal, and none of them are in this album.

Well, lowest I have seen is 80 so I would call it raving reviews/scores. Personally I would rate it a 6-6.5

As would I.

"The Bleeding Ground" and "The Waste of Time" is a highlight of this album. Rest is straight-to-the-face mediocre stuff.
