In Extremo - Release Compilation


German folk-metallers In Extremo are releasing a best-of album celebrating their 10 Year Anniversary called "Kein Blick Zurück" [= "No Looking Back"] on December 8th via Universal Music GmbH.
According to the band they have "re-recorded some of their old and new hits with updated production - including songs from their Weckt Die Toten (1998) record. A limited bonus CD will also be included with cover versions of In Extremo songs from other artists. Amongst others, this includes Silbermond with "Die Gier", Götz Alsmann with "Singapur", Killing Joke and Grave Digger and the legendary German group Ougenweide.

Good, In Extremo is the typical band with a few great tracks by album but tons of fillers, so a compilation will be nice...

That news article is quite misleading. Actually those songs on disc 2 aren't songs by other artists covered by In Extremo, but In Extremo songs covered by other artists. And that Grave Digger one might be quite interesting.
