The structure reminds me somehow of So Did We by Isis. Equally brilliant.

I think it has yet to rise.

Finally they are back. I thought they died on Eternal Boredom, but this new thing is amazingly close to Amenra, Neurosis, Isis, Process Of Guilt and Kylesa. Me likes.

I disagree, to me it's slowly dying. The rise was already during the last decade. It's harder to find interesting bands nowdays.

The fuck? Eternal Kingdom was an amazing album. And sounding amazingly close to other bands is NOT a good thing. EK was fresh, to say the least.

I don't mean that it is in the process of rising, but that it hasn't showed its full potential yet. Maybe with this release, who knows?

I'm happy someone actually enjoyed it. For me it was and it will always be boring and uninspired. And long as fuck, too.

This is the solution for your problems:

Great, interesting band and all... But the problem remains for me. Very few bands are doing their own thing in this genre. It spread way too much under a short time (not as extreme as the so called "blackgaze" movement but still pretty fast) so we are in a place were the genre needs fresh blood that can take it to a different level, right now we are getting mostly bands that are trying to do the same thing the masters already did but not as good.

Oh you meant that... Well in that case.... Huh, can't say my opinion changed much.

That's how I would describe Somewhere Along The Highway. Nothing happened on that album at all.

That's not the case for me. I could probably relate to "Somewhere Along The Way" because it seemed to be a lot more personal than "Eternal Kingdom".
