I'll level with you guys. I wrote a review for Kings Of Metal MMXIV back in November 2013, based purely on the Battle Hymns MMXI abomination and the seconds-long clip of the "Kingdom Come" vocal track. The first track was passable, but they butchered the second one and I stopped listening. Why?! Why ruin this record?! The production of the original was great. The performance was also great! Why make a subpar re-recording with a worn-off Eric Adams and some obsolete musicians (quality-wise)? The only answer is money... nothing else, same thing with the re-recording of the debut.
