Holocausto Canibal - New EP Cover Revealed

Portuguese grind masters Holocausto Canibal have revealed the cover artwork from their upcoming EP Larvas, to be released via Bizarre Leprous Production. Conceived by guitarist Eduardo F., the cover portrays a bloody eye being opened by surgical tools while a worm silently slithers into the iris.

According to Eduardo F., "the whole idea of this release is to mark the transition between our previous album Gorefilia and the new songs we're already working on. Larvas is Portuguese for 'larvae', and somehow we wanted to pass the image of a rotten body infested by worms (which represent Gorefilia), while one of those worms silently crawls into a brand new body (the new songs). This worm is this new opus: rotten, ugly, slimy and fat - which actually are some of the words we can use to describe these songs!"

You can find more details about this release over here. The release date and final tracklist are expected to be revealed in the next weeks.

Grow up.

For what?

Have you heard "Gorefilia"? If yes, I don't think you would ever said to grow 'em up. If not, give a listen and see the transition they've made.

Seriously, these guys are really good.
