Asphyx - Drummer Bob Bagchus Leaves, Working On New Material
Asphyx founding member and drummer Bob Bagchus will no longer be playing in the band as he wants to spend more time with his family. His duties will be taken over by Stefan Hüskes, a longtime friend of the band. The Dutch death metallers wish Bob and his family all the best and thank him for "the great years of brutality, doom and death." The current Asphyx line-up now features none of the group's original members. However, the band has recently completed 3 new tracks and two of them will be used for the split EP with Swedish group Torture Division.
As for Bob Bagchus, he said: "I like to thank all of our fans worldwide for the great, great support and dedication! Cheers!"
Apart from the split with Torture Division, the band announced in February that they are also working on new songs for the next album to follow Deathhammer.

Well, this is bad, I think people listen to Asphyx because they want some Death Metal a la Old-School. Personally, I love Martin's voice, and their last albums were quite good, but still I don't know if they will have what it takes to keep on using the Asphyx moniker.
