Poor Boxy does get the brunt every now and then.

Leaked. The whole album is gorgeous and full of precious details, but the last song is just... otherworldly. Alcest/Neige should take notes on this.
It's way more atmospheric/vague/dreamlike than expected, the first song is still the catchiest. Definitely a grower.
Now I'm really waiting for my artbook...

This album, is flat out amazing. Listened to it today and it immediately transported me to another world which was much more relaxed, dreamy and beautifully surreal. Music at its finest.

That poem almost makes me wanna check this out.

Going by these last posts I was afraid I was going to listen to something similar to latter Alcest, but thankfully that was not the case. This was very good.

I want to like this. But aside from the first and last songs not much grabs me.

I didn't realize Herbst did all the instruments and vox. Wow.

Seems like every alternative band is jumping on this Post-Ambient Metal bandwagon, since it paid off really well for bands like Deafheaven or Alcest. This one is for fans of these bands, really good and solid album. Love the vocal work.

It's called "hipster" black metal my friend.

I find it kind of unfair since Post-Rock has nothing to do with the hipster culture in Rock

There's nothing hipster about this. Also, I still have to understand what "hipster music" is supposed to be.

Anything that promotes hipster/indie culture or anything that hipsters like or claim is hipster whether mockingly or ironically or purposefully.

Something like that anyway.

Is it just me, or is the reception this album is getting feel eerily similar to when Sunbather was released? I mean it's good, but nothing special really.

Beautiful release, without Neige's voice because he's gone of the band, yep, but amazing anyway.
Herbst is an excellent composer.

Even after many spins, I didn't feel something special about it..

Didn't expect myself to enjoy it, but i did! a nice surprise.

I thought I'd lost interest in this sort of music, but Melting Sun seems to have restored it.
