Dir En Grey - Release New DVD, Announce New Album
Visual-kei survivors Dir En Grey resurfaced last week with a new live DVD and Blu-ray, Dum Spiro Spero At Nippon Budokan. Filmed over two nights back in March, the double-disc set contains both concerts in full. The limited edition also boasts assorted extras and behind-the-scenes footage, plus a bonus CD featuring alternate versions of most songs from 2011's Dum Spiro Spero.
Dir En Grey also recently announced plans for their ninth studio album. The as-yet untitled record is slated for release sometime in November. More details as we get them.

Written by shadowdragonfly1 on 24.07.2014 at 19:07 That's why they're referred to as visual kei, the same reason why glam rock bands are referred to as glam rock. It's a stylistic tag, not a genre. As for their style, I'm pretty sure electronic/alternative metal is more appropriate than experimental metal.
