1989 is technically the eighties. So you're saying they should have been a few months faster in the release and you wouldn't have complained?

I said "80's cliche"... by 80's i meant a certain wave of commercial hard rock/ pop metal bands like cinderella and stuff... this band had comtemporary artists such Iron Maiden and Saxon and none of them sounded like an 80's pop metal cliche like this album... even Samson's earlier works had a different sound...
for 1990 albums which are not 80's cliches...you should consider:
Judas Priest - Painkiller
Iron Maiden - No Prayer For The Dying
Black Sabbath - Tyr
Dio - Lock Up The Wolves
AC/DC - The Razor's Edge

Cliche 80s sounding rock/metal album indeed with imaginationless keys and the sucky drum sound. None of the songs sounds good to me; they're not total fillers, hence I won't go really low on the rating, but they're not anything special, and when it doesn't sound original at all and not even like Samson used to sound like, it's hard to see this album as something really meaningful.
