Having completed The Nameless Tour to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their debut album, The Nameless Disease, it would appear that The Old Dead Tree have something in store for their fans! Recently, the band revealed that they have written and recorded 5 brand new tracks to be accompanied by a DVD, both set for a tentative release this year.

Manuel Munoz wrote: "As you know, the five ultimate tracks of the band have been recorded. The songs should be released on CD this year. The process takes more time than planned because we decided to add some video content to the music. Indeed, as I'm posting this, Julien Metternich, who directed all the band's videos, is working on gathering old footages from The Nameless Tour. He already interviewed all the past and present band members in order to make a film that will try to explain how we lived and died as a band."

The band's last opus was the '07 release titled The Water Fields, making it nearly a decade since they released any new material. Who's excited?
