Jason Newsted - Launches New Project
The short-lived Newsted project might be over but American bass player Jason Newsted (ex-Metallica, Voivod, Flotsam And Jetsam) is launching a new acoustic project called Would And Steal with Rob Tucker. Stay tuned for more news about that coming soon but he has debuted the new acoustic duo Would And Steal at Mighty Fine Guitars in California. You can watch that performance here. Two benefit shows featuring the project have been booked for August 5th and 6th at Mighty Fine Guitars in Lafayette, CA with proceeds to go towards Little Kids Rock.

Metalli who ? Slightly reminds me of a great band I used to listen to up to mid 90s but they're long time gone... As for Newsted, seems he never managed to turn the page, also reminds me of former Fear Factory members...

Wow, I didn't realize the Newsted project got canceled.... that stinks. I really liked that album. I've no interest in an acoustic band.

The name sounds like Zeal and Ardor but worse in every way.
