Ashes Of Ares - Premiere New Track

Today, you can listen to new music from Ashes Of Ares! The heavy metal band, led by singer Matt Barlow (ex-Iced Earth), has shared a new video for the song "Let All Despair". Their brand new album Well Of Souls is set for a November 9th release on digipack CD, 2LP black vinyl and limited 2LP black/turquoise splatter Vinyl via ROAR - rock of angels records.

Ashes Of Ares returns with the long-awaited follow-up to their self-titled debut album. Well Of Souls builds upon the foundation laid down by the first album and further solidifies Matt Barlow and Freddie Vidales' partnership in writing. Former Ashes Of Ares member and close friend, Van Williams, contributes the hammering drum beats, while Jonah Weingarten sets the mood, from the beginning, with a stirring instrumental intro to the album.

Well, it's not bad. The last minute though... you'd think they'd kick it up a notch at the end, but they just keep the same midtempo thud... and then fade out.

It made me want to listen to some Iced Earth. "I can see clearly now, a painful vision indeed..."
