It's been said about many albums before, and it can be said about Rituals Of Power; this is the result of expectation meeting reality.

So, deathgrind only has 3-4 major bands? damn. this subgenre has potential in my opinion. can't wait for this album.

Pretty awesome grinding death metal. I like I Disavow and Decline and Fall the most. My only problem is that I wish the production was not as clean as it is. I like it when grindcore and death metal have production that sounds a little bit raw like Insect Warfare or Devourment's first album. However this is not a huge problem for me and I still think this album is awesome.

Solid, but...just solid. I had high expectations for this, but I'm kind of dissapointed.

I couldnt imagine i'd ever rate MI with a 7. Nothing more to say...

Boring and repetitive.

New Salem and Rituals of power the only ones i liked somewhat more...

I for one really enjoy it. I wasn't gonna bother with it cause Killing Gods was pretty boring but this one is way better, shorter and to the point.

I actually enjoyed it more than I was expecting. Not many albums get better for me with subsequent listens (the opposite is more common) but this one caught my attention the more time I spent with it for my review. Started out as a low- to mid-seven and worked up nearly a full point after about five full listens.
