Æther Realm - Tarot

Wicked good album - it's beautiful and inspiring, with exceptional production (dynamic range 9-12), great riffs and lyrics, its even features some great acoustic guitar parts and have guest singer Christopher Bowes (Alestorm) for King Of Cups.The last song is an epic with 19 minutes duration, a real journey.

This is up there with Ensiferums best

It is indeed. What a killer song. It sounds as if the best era of Ensiferum and Wintersun banded together and had to cowrite a song.

'Death' is one of the best songs I've discovered in the past 12 months.

8.8/10 for me - Of course 'Death' is the standout song. 'The Sun, The Moon, The Star' is also fantastic. 'The Devil', 'Strength', and 'Temperance' are good as well. 'Tarot' and 'King Of Cups' are a little weaker than the rest IMO.

One of the best melodeath albums of the decade. Consistent, varied, epic. I never get tired of it.

This is criminally underrated! This matches (if not surpasses) the greatness of Be'lakor, Dark Tranquillity, and Wintersun! Every single song is fantastic: lyrics, melody, performance, everything! And the final song has to be one of the greatest emotional epics of metal history - Jari Mäenpää wishes he could write songs like this!
