The Meads Of Asphodel - Reveal New Album Details
British avant-garde black metal outfit The Meads Of Asphodel were supposed to release their upcoming album, Running Out Of Time Doing Nothing last October, but now we finally have a release date for it (21st June), as well as a tracklist, cover art and line-up.
The band posted the following message in their Facebook group: "The Meads of Asphodel sixth full length album 'Running Out of Time Doing Nothing' is now complete & will be released on the 21st of June 2019. The pre-order for the album is now available in the Godreah section of our online store along with a pre-order for our new T-Shirt. The album features eleven tracks & has a total running time of 1:04:36. It will deliver many a deathly theme & a large slice of eclectically stitched musical madness. This Sunday will see the release of a video synopsis for the LP featuring snippets of all the tracks along with the blathering's of Metatron & J.D. Tait. This will be followed up a couple of weeks later by the video single for 'I'm Running Out of Time Doing Nothing'. Hails & Thanks."

Why is there no song with an inspiring title like "A Canticle for the Lost Amputees of Aelia Capitolina Who Have Been Trampled Under the Iron Shod Hooves of Salivating Hell Rams and Impaled on the Shimmering Tusks of Salvation Within the Abandoned Tabernacle of a Bronze Age Myth" or "The Mussulmans Wander Through the Infernal Whirling Fires Amongst Silent Shadows to be Fed Into the Thirsting Jaws of a Godless Death Machine to Cough Up Their Souls to the Nazi Moloch Who Sits Within a Ring of Smoking Infant Skulls" ?
