I like the last verse in the last song on the record because it reflects the whole album's quality perfectly.

Typical Korn release. A few corny bits, a few catchy bits, peppered-in with a few heavy parts and, lots and lots of cringe...

It sounds like old Korn, but apart from "Cold" and "You'll Never Find Me", nothing really stands out to me.
Jonathan Davis vocal performance is great though and full of emotion and power.

Previous album was better, this is an average or below average album.

I really liked the first single they released for this album. I think the last album I listened to was Untitled or whatever the one was after that, and that single made me check out the previous album. The Serenity Of Suffering was really good, it feels like a comeback of sorts, although I haven't listened to the albums before it (The Paradigm Shift seems to be well-received, so I will give that a go as well.)
This was the first time in a long while that I was excited for a new Korn album, unfortunately it was also the first time in a long while that I was disappointed by a new Korn album. The album does not live up to that single nor to the previous album.

I won't deny the fact that songs "You'll Never Find Me" and "The Darkness is Revealing" reminds me of self-titled debut or try to copy material to make a comeback Korn record - whatever it is, I enjoyed.

Much better than last few records.

The previous album was ok, but this is a dissapointing follow up, the music is very bland, the riffs are very generic, and the songwriting is nothing special or new, it feels like recycled material from their early work but with nothing memorable, and with no real inspiration.

The best thing about the album is the meaningful lyrics, Jon as usual has put alot of his personal emotion and feelings into this. Some of the songs aren't that bad, but there is nothing that makes you think wow that was good.
