It has the typical atmospheric and emotional aspects that you'd come to expect from these atmospheric/post-black releases, but it's also stagnant in its delivery. The riffs and melodies are tiresome and bland in an amateurish way -- the kind of stuff you'd expect from teenagers fleshing out their sound and discovering what works and what doesn't. It's not that it's bad, it's just so safe and confined and afraid to branch out beyond what looks good on paper.

Decent background music regardless, but nothing more. Their understanding of atmosphere could prove to be something that helps them stand out in the future, but as it stands, this is merely a stepping stone album at best.

Decent album sortha post metal where still ''true'' metal, ABM roots dominate strictly. background of softens gives good vibe into it. This is a first album where I would add a post metal tag.
