Removed review from list: "It's not often you hear a hybrid of musical styles pulled off in a manner that is truly convincing and, typically, the more genres involved the lower the success rate. Hadea demonstrate how it's done, guiding the listener through an unforgettable and multifaceted journey. Pummeling guitar riffs, churning bass, calculated drumming, and spiteful screeches give way to more measured, yet equally dynamic, sections laden with delectable groove and grungy vocals. Equally present is the more introspective post-metal aspect of their sound, as on the tracks "Reconstruction Of Our Ways" and "Source And Creator". Upbeat melodies, soothing vocals, and laid back drums and bass build layer upon layer before succumbing to a more visceral sound. Female vocals are often blended into these sections, contributing an almost ethereal dimension. A progressive flavour permeates the entire record, each passage wrought with tongue-twisting deliciousness. The time-signature and tempo changes were meticulously selected to infuse the instrumentation with an added heap of groove, keeping the listener on their feet throughout. The influences are numerous, but those notable include Tool and Mastodon's style of stoner metal. My only complaint would be that I found the tracks "Sleeper" and "Ignis Fatuus" subpar and seemingly aimless compared to the remainder of the record, but that won't stop me from revisiting the remaining eight stellar tracks."
