A brilliant thrash band, one of the many German thrash bands that have that lie among the best in the world... I love them, they have superb catchy in many of the songs..

The lyrics are arguable the best in the business.... Very in-depth and thought provoking...

Heh whoops, looks like we're all in a rush to make new threads so duplicates are bound to happen....

Yeah, Kreator is really awesome. Surprisingly, I have gone through times where I can't stop listening to "Endorama". Yeah yeah, I know that's the album many fans dislike because the sound doesn't fit them and stuff, but I feel it has some quite memorable songs on there, such as "Passage to Babylon", "Everlasting Flame", and "Willing Spirit". Nonetheless, I still enjoy the title track to the "Violent Revolution" album and some of their 80s releases. Good stuff!

Coma Of Souls is excellent. I don't care that much for the deathmetallish first albums and the later experimental stuff (incl. the goth album Endorama) but the two last albums are a step in the right direction, they aren't just as tight as I'd like them.

One of my favourite bands ever.I love the agression in Mille's vocals Even though I prefer their old albums...Endless Pain,Pleasure to kill...Endorama was an experiment, but still I didn't like it at all.Lately they returned to the thrash metal sound, but added a lot of melody.Maybe more than it should be.

The greatest Thrash Metal band ever!!!! Thrash Metal is Kreator, their oldest albums are the best: "Endless Pain", "Pleasure to Kill", "Terrible Certainty" and "Extreme Agression", then they made an "experimental pause", I think, "Renewal" is the example of this, it's some weird (Sorry, I'm not musician, I don't know how to explain ) "Violent Revolution" and "Enemy of God" are Kreator's Thrash again

I love old Kreator, especially Pleasure To Kill. Excellent oldschool thrash. Mille's vocals are pure aggression. Ventor's drumming is another thing to look at, and it also amazes me how he can do vocals and drum like that on the same time. I also like Tormentor's demos (pre-Kreator). Kreator are among the best thrash bands to ever exist. Kreator's newer releases are kind of nice, but I don't tend to listen to them a lot.

I don't think like you, i think that old stuff is realy old....i mean, the structures, the riffs, don´t have nothing special to listen nowadays. The songs are almost equal, only changing the guitar notes.
Actualy is very good, it´s a good melo-death-trash sound.
I think that they have learned something with theyr last producer

I have three Kreator albums; Pleasure To Kill, Terrible Certainty and Enemy Of God. I fucking love Pleasure To Kill so much. It's one of my favorite Thrash albums of all time. After that I got Enemy Of God, and aside from the title track and maybe Voices Of The Dead (which grew on me), it's a horrible album. Way too much melody for their own good. I can't stand how so many bands today just toss in melody for the sake of having melody. And then earlier this school year I got Terrible Certainty. I thought it was just decent at first, but I gave it a listen this morning and I enjoy it more. I still prefer Pleasure To Kill though.

I think I should get Endless Pain next.

Well i Like the raw sound is has, and when you have lisen to the albums some times you will hear a diffent in the tones. For me thrash should be raw fast and brutal (i like more melody thrash to).

Kreator are great, they have the more known albums and the underrated, I find the album Coma of souls underrated and Violent Revolution.
I also find liking Violent Revolution better then Enemy of god.

Kreator are one of my top favourite thrash metal bands, just love them. I only have 'Pleasure To Kill' and 'Enemy Of God' and i cant get enough of either, 'Pleasure To Kill' being the outright favourite of the two. Today when i went to the cd store they had alot of Kreator cds in and i had only seen 'Enemy Of God' in there before (i had to order PTK in) and because i love the two albums i have thought that i'd come here to read what other peoples favourites and recommendations are ... think i'll go for 'Extreme Aggression' or 'Endless Pain' .... or both depending on price
