Sabaton - 'Christmas Truce' Track & Video Premiered Online

Swedish power metalers Sabaton have premiered a video clip for the newest music piece off their upcoming album, The War To End All Wars, due on March 4th 2022. The ballad, "Christmas Truce", is based on the eponymous World War I events, when many soldiers on Western Front ceased fire and had friendly meetings with their enemies for at least a moment around the first Christmas of war in 1914. The spectacular video clip, which can be seen below, was filmed and produced in Czech Republic.

Sabaton mastermind and bassplayer Pär Sundström on the song: "Christmas Truce" was our highest priority when we decided to write songs about World War One. Not only was it the most requested topic from our fans, but it was, for us, the most emotional story from the war. This song took us years to create since we wanted the music to reflect the mood honestly and it was a big challenge, but we feel we managed to write a song that captures the spirit of this day, over a century ago."

I would swear 'Carolus Rex' is their outstanding and most solid release ever

Then it is hard to tell, I have couple of favorite songs on each and every other

Probably you should check 'The Art Of War' with their yet-to-be-beaten classic gig opener Ghost Division (have seen it 5 times already, still not having enough )

Also Nightwitches from 2014s 'Heroes' are totally awesome live

And their best song ever is IMO The Last Stand from an eponymous 2016 album:
