Considering that's the last track on the album, it's pretty strong. The last part very good, also the speed and aggressiveness. Mustaine killed cancer , around 60 years old, and pulling out this thrash speed modern with old vibes song, it's impressive

Average music as usual from modern Megadeth. It's really just a pretty standard thrash track with the almost obligatory, generic shredding. It does have a decent riff, and I enjoy the cheesiness to the chorus, which I have missed from them lately.
Megadeth hasn't really released a good album this century, and I doubt this is gonna be it.

Solid thrash. I liked that final soloing.
I had enjoyed Dystopia and it seems like this could be similar, so I'm looking forward to September!

Reminds me of that line about Lou Reed in Trainspotting: 'In your heart, you kind of know that although it sounds alright, it's actually just shite.'

Actually a very decent song. Great Endgame/Dystopia-style riffs and solos though Dave’s sloppy vocals drags it down a bit.

Aad to say, Dave's health problems bring down an otherwise killer track.

What are you even on about dude? United Abominations, Dystopia and Endgame where all stellar releases and are all from this century.
This new single does sound bog-standard 'Deth but what did you expect after 16 studio releases?

Don't bother. Some people will not accept anything released after Rust in Peace.
The song is unimpressive, I felt disappointed. But then, I felt the same after "The Threat Is Real" six years ago, but "Dystopia" turned out to be quite good.

Textbook Megadeth...love the bass sound too, however, Kiko has too distinctive sound and as a result I kept thinking Angra.
Good, overall hope the full album is better though.

After a few more(like 50) listens I have to say that the last instrumental part it's really really impressive. Wake up Dead stuff I might say, but better(blasphemy maybe). And the solos really fitting, not only great. Wow

Yep, the verse vocal line/melody is almost the same as in Black Friday

Final solo is a rehash of very old metal songs.... But considering they are still kicking ass with speed and thrash.... Thumbs up.... Just because i love these people.

I think Dystopia is decent, the other two are just overall pretty weak IMO. There are a couple of good songs on both, and a bunch of filler or even bad songs. Endgame in particular just throws in a lot of out of place solos, to make the album sound more thrashy and technical than it really is.
I think there are a lot of old school thrash bands that do better than Megadeth have done post-2000. Kreator, Sodom and Testament are good examples, and while Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Sepultura haven't had the most impressive run this century, they have all at least released one or two albums that are superior to any of Megadeth's post-2000 offerings.
But I will give the new album a fair shot. I will say this is a decent enough track for an album closer, and among the better modern-Megadeth songs. If this is an average song by the album's standard, it will be a solid album. If it is a weak song by the album's standard, it will be a great album. If it is one of the better songs by the album's standard (as singles tend to be), it will be a shitty album.

On the contrary, Countdown to Extinction is tied for my favorite Megadeth album (along with Peace Sells), Youthanasia is almost equally good. I like Cryptic Writings and even Risk. After that though, not as much.

Solid song. Great guitar work (DUH!!!).
Can't be upset over this track. Hopefully the rest of the album is just as solid.
