Its maybe too early to vote for Wintersun, but their first album is for me one of the best if not the best album Ive heard so far, and it isnt Jari's only work, so... Well see, the time shall tell am I right.

Heh Kätilöt, it's the best industrial band we've got IMO. Actually Tarot's keyboardist plays also in Turmion Kätilöt.

Finntroll or Korpiklaani, that whole humppa polka feeling is wonderful.

Here from Finland comes so much great bands...Finland is truly one of the best metal countries I know, especially in Europe. I love Finnish underground metal, though I am not sure are my favorites so underground, because I love music, whatever, only criteria for music is, that it sounds good, not how ''true'' the band actually is. Best band from Finland is Reverend Bizarre. Because? Because music sounds pressive and its tempo is usually oppressively slow. Recent one is the greatest, little bit prog taste on it.

Check out this, found this from Internet, don't know how great the site actually is, but check out. I can tell you few great rivals to Reverend Bizarre, and they are Stone, Horna, Moonsorrow, Amorphis(Recent one is great), Wintersun....

Hoh. This one is pretty hard. Hmm.. Well Ensiferum or Finntroll. Anyway it would be good to see more metal bands from Finland playing death or thrash metal

Ooooh I forgot Satanic Warmaster, and Baptism. I also love both. I wouldn't call Azaghal or SW over rated, but they are really good for certain states of mind of atmospheres. I really love the drpressive, sorrowful sound of Azaghal for example but they are also quite raw.

Yeah I am a rarity, my favorite types of music are black metal and power metal.

I also love many other styles but usually only a few bands of a certain type and not the genre as a whole. My Dying Bride is one of my all time favs but I find most doom boring.

Back to the Finns though, I also love ...And Oceans/Havok Unit and forgot to mention them. Downright strange band. Same goes for Beherit.

I think Kalmah is by far the best band from Finland..I probably think so because they are just about my favourite metal band though

Nightwish were the greatest band of their time but, they have not given us a masterpiece in a very long time.

Yah, No anasthesia! is probably my fav thrash disc of all time.

moonsorrow, because I love viking metal XD, there are many other good metal bands wich I fukin love like horna, satanic warmaster, behexen, impaled nazarene, catamenia, etc =)

I voted for Nightwish, but it was a close call (Apocalyptica, Children of Bodom, Stratovarius, I have to stop, there is no end).

A ton of great, established bands aren't on metal storm. That's nothing new. The site is great and the people here are mostly nice but the database isn't that large.

Kickass vocals, kickass guitar, kickass bass - EVERYTHING about that band is kickass.

Favorite song would be Infinite... listen to it with 2x400W speakers... you will get a boner

I voted for "Other", which in my case is Walteri. Why? Because they can play like any of those other bands mentioned (and often have) and are toherwise a very unique band.
