I'd recommend reading Paul's letter to the Church in Rome, for he discusses that question in there.

satanists as I know are Atheists, but maybe you mean Anti Christ Satanists who believe in god and want Satan to be the winner, yeah?

Yes, most Satanists are atheists, and there are some who have a concept of an externalized deity. However, Satanism is still technically considered a religion, and a prime reason why a satanist could make an interesting post on this thread is because they could state their sect and what that sect is all about. We get more out of it, ya know? Even with atheism, there are different kinds of atheists.

Satanists can't be Atheists since:
1) They believe in Satan, so there's no Satan without God.
2) Believe, as Arian Totalis says in some "externalized deity" that is still a God.

Satanist = Atheist is a totally ridiculous thing to me.

it shows that you havent read nothin about satanism, you have to read for example Anton Lavey's satanic bible then you will know that satanism means that you adore your body and your feelings not Lucifer. Satanism in a lot of cases is = Humanism.

To be just a little bit more...calm? Than the Black God, I should say that yes, Satanists can very well indeed be atheists. Satanism in its begining was not about spirituality nor a belief in the spiritual at all. You could still call it a religion, but then again Buddhism is considered a religion but there are alot of buddhists who don't believe in an afterlife or reincarnation, yet they still adhere strongly to the tenants because the believe in the four noble truths. Satanism is centered around hedonism; around self indulgence basically. There are satanists who believe in lucifer, or maybe a universal force of chaos that they call lucifer, but there are plenty who have no belief in a higher power either way.

I'm an Atheist. I don't believe in any powerful or ultimate being at the origin of the universe. I believe in science so therefore I find religion highly contradictory. I believe early pagan religions were created to explain what people then didn't understand. Religion then developped into a philosophy of right doing. Don't do this or that because God will punish you. Therefore, Religion became a way to control the masses. Today, we have what is called common law so I don't see the need of Religion in modern society. However, I do believe in the philosophy that most religions advance (it is generally the same throughout different Religions), I think the big books are taken to seriously, stories were created as metaphores not intented as fact, therefore it is between the lines that one must discover the true messages and philosophy of each Religion. There thought I'd explain my point of view seeing as the topic existed. Hope no one was offended by it, everyone is entitled to have their own believes.

Ok lets talk about Religion. Today Ramadan is ended in almost all of Muslim countries (in some countries like Iran it will end tomorrow its because they say moon will set tomorrow in Iran not today - and as I remember it was a 100% political thing because always its just different in Iran because Iran is Shea and wants to say that we are all different from others. an absolute Deceit) ok! but here is the sotry:

In Turkey after Ramadan ends they celebrate it for 3 days and almost all of shops and even Gas Stations are closed (in little cities as mine, its unbelievable but true), and in these 3 days kids come to your houses and ring your bell and you must give them candies. I said Must because last year I didnt open my door for kids and they stole my shoos! and this year I didnt open the door in 8 O'Clock in the morning and when I went out for buy Gas Tube for kitchen I saw something very weird. there were 2 masses of shits in the corridor of my apartment which I will share it on my facebook page soon! I mean their photos and my congratulations for these holidays maybe thats why the phrase so called "Holly Shit" has been made.

After that I found out that all places are closed. Not even a Super Market is open, now I dont have Gas and I have to fuck myself maybe. Im hungry I cant wait for 3 days to buy gas and eat just what I have in the house! Believe me there is not an open bakery neither.

Oh there is a lot of atheist here! so I prefer don't write about my religion!!!!

Ok then. as you can understand from my country I'm muslim and shia. I believe God like catholics that Viggo said. If you wanna know the diffrence of shia and sunni read below:
shias believe that the first vicar of Muhammad is Ali son of abi-taleb. but sunnies believe abubakr is the first vicar. there is alot of sects in islam but shia and sunni are the most important sects in islam.

This forum is pretty democratic, you can be a muslim or an athiest and you wont be prosecuted ... infact, the variety of religions between members of the forum is amazing .. that a certain type of music can unite all mindkind without regards to their religion, you'd find jews and muslims both fans of the same bands and sharing same views.. you'd find catholics and athiests admiring the same music and discussing their favorite bands ... etc
i hope one day the real world will have this kind of tolerance.. let metal unite us !

He meant that he cant talk about his religion because of government of Iran not because of our friends over here in MS.

The government in Iran has done its part and banned Metalstorm all together .. i think those guys are using proxy ... however, i doubt that the government is monitoring the website, and even if, none of'em has his real name or photo posted.. so they're generally safe (unless someone from the Iranian government hacks the site and gets a list of all the ip addresses that entered the site.. and still.. in tht case he would get a vague location.. maybe the neighborhood that he lives in.. but you cant trace back an ip address to a single user to know his exact location.

I'm one of those people who just believe we were always here, and that religion is just a manmade invention to answer the question of why.

I'm trying to change my IP

Dude, everytime you log onto the internet you're assigned a different IP (nevermind the local IP that you can change, i'm talking about the other IP that identifies you on the internet) ... so, they CANNOT catch you... also, if you use proxy, then they CANNOT catch you (unless they hack the proxy website ) .. and EVEN IF they get a hold of your IP, they still can't trace you back to your house .. the IP is assigned according to geographic location, so each "neighbourbood" or residential block maybe ias assigned a certain IP range, you get a different IP everytime you log onto the internet but within a certain range that identifies your location .. so, worst case scienario, they'll come to your neighbourhood and arrest at least 2000 people (you're included) and try to find out which one of the 2000 is you... so, don't worry ... you live in a strict country, i live in a police state where it ws exposed on many occassions that americans send in prisoners from the all-famous guantanamo bay to cairo to be tortured and interrogated to extract the neccessary information they want.. so, apparently our policemen are more brutal than guantanamo bay prison-keepers ! lol
