One of the best finds in the rather limited cyber/electro style in quite a while. Fans of Neurotech, Minority Sound and the like go hoppity hop, pronto.

Never knew anyone here knows about it too (= Written by [user id=4365] on 31.05.2014 at 03:24 gutted that the LP has been sold out. The artwork looks lovely, even from a Chinese's perspective

A few friends of mine joined this underground local Stoner Rock band and, since I had the day off, I've decided to attend their first Gig and help out in any way I could. The show was at a bar and they would be opening for this Psychadelic band, "The Grand Astoria". After some research I found out this guys are a part of a new Psychadelic thing in St. Petesburg and have quite a Discography with less than 5 years of existance. They show a mix between Psychadeic/Space Prog with A LOT of Heavy Metal elements. They seem to inspire a lot on what they've been listening to latelly. http://thegrandastoria.bandcamp.com/album/the-process-of-weeding-out

http://www.stereogum.com/1686147/solstafir-otta-stereogum-premiere/mp3s/ New Sólstafir. Now with banjo. It's quite sweet, the melody is enjoyable and pushing even more in the direction Svartir Svandar had.

Seriously well produced and professional debut from this Iranian progressive/technical death metal and named Azooma. Not the style of music I care about a lot these days but this album is cool, and totally not the dry type of tech death. A very positive review and stream here .

These two caught my eye recently: Saor - Aura. Pretty awesome celtic themed black/folk metal from Scotland. I usually avoid folk metal like the plague, but this I can appreciate. Not too over the the top but done in a way that I find enjoyable and immersive. Edit: just noticed that Saor was on staff pick recently. Nice. Miasmal - Cursed Redeemer. This album was a grower because I get skeptical with any new DM that comes out (especially Death n'Roll), but actually turns out to be a pretty solid album. Groovy as hell, bestial vocals and really nice guitar solos.
