Death metal (currently), but mostly Old School Death because of the rawer production. I like a few new Death bands (Faceless, Devourment, ...) but mostly it's Autopsy, Entombed or Morbid Angel.

I voted "other" for Doom. By the way I wonder how many of the 44 votes for "other" (at the time I post) actually went for Doom? However I listen to every metal subgenres, though I admit I prefer Black, Melodic Death and Thrash over other subgenres like Heavy, Power and Gothic.

I don't really know. If you'd ask me a year ago, I'd say nu-metal. Maybe it still is..though I'll just sum it all up, and I'll include some hard rock songs into it and say...Alternative metal. My second choice would be Melodic Death, or Gothic Metal

Fuck Yeah Death Metal for the win !!! even tho Im really into Sludge and I love Grind aswell  Death is the shitespecially TDM bands like Necrophagist, Decapitated, Quo Vadis, Martyr, Nile, Spawn of Possession, Anata....... (and alot more) That genre just kicks ass lol

I chose power metal even though my top two favorite bands,(Dream Theater, Opeth) are progressive metal bands. I just find that it's the genre I listen to the most on average. I also really love black metal and thrash metal as well. Well actually I love just about any genre of metal.
