Yeah, also seems to be one of those movies that reveals itself more and more each time you watch it. I like having something new to discover on a re-watch.

That said, at 2 am I would have preferred cute kittens instead of... you know.

Leaves of Grass (2009)
Edward Norton movie and a great one. He plays a double role. Twin brothers Bill and Brady get together after long time. Bill is a university professor and Brady is a pot-grower (strange, isn't it? LOL). A lot of things can go wrong, right? And they do. Good story and great acting.

Saw Woody Allen's "Irrational Man" recently. A good film on a dark and disturbed subject yet the style is, typical to Allen, fun and comic... One of those films that makes you think...

Another one I suggest is "Strangerland"... a gripping mystery story (that makes you think), wondrous display of the beauty of the outback that just makes you drown in it and strong performances by all actors, especially that of Nicole Kidman. If you liked "Picnic at Hanging Rock" then this film will be your cup of tea as well...

Damn. Filmweb, our Polish equivalent of IMDb, says that the world premiere took place on September 11th.. Nevermind, I'm so stoked for this ahhh!

That was the Toronto Film Festival, so it did premiere, but it'll be released everywhere else starting 30 September (all according to IMDB )

I'll probably go see it in theaters, but I have to wait until 7 October...

Haha, sorry to disappoint. I knew it wasn't out yet, the rest only required a quick imdb search

I'm a bit over Maaaatt Daaaaamon, but looking forward to seeing that. I put that book on my "books to read" on Goodreads but i don't think i could read it now, i'll keep thinking a bout mat damon narration.

Let's see, what did I watch recently.

The Maze Runner
- Don't even remember what it's about. It might have been a parody of The Hunger Games or something, I don't know.

Prisoners
- Quite good, especially for an abduction type film, doesn't live up to the director's other movie I watched though (Enemy)

Locke
- Excellent. Might not be for everyone, but somehow it kept my attention and even put me at the edge of my seat even though the film never leaves the car it's set in and only has Tom Hardy making some calls. Surviving on one actor's performance alone is quite impressive.

Everest

Actually went to the movies and watched this in 3d.

True story about a bunch of climbers who get caught in a storm while doing the everest summit climb.

Great movie, very gripping and very sad. I liked how the big actors were just sideline actors.

Fire with Fire - Nice Willis shit where he was second role player, anyway nice film, and justice was served

in every single US movie justice is served (unless its not horror movie, where good ending has extra and bad things don't die)

Justice is served certainly is a spoiler since it gives away the outcome. In lots of films and also American films justice is NOT served.

But you thinking that in US films is always served is telling about the sort of films you watch.

The Town
Nice film, nice way to try get something, but in real life don't works that way,
I liked conversation about ... he has bullet proof west, he wears combat boots and looks like special fucking forces --- pick someone who is fat whit belly

Beer Fest - nice comedy about beer drinkers , reason why I didn't like it I was so thirsty LOL, but if we drop it, nice one ... gosh I haven't watched movies like 5 weeks
EC in basket, WC in Rugby ,.. work, no good unseen films on TV... (Marcel, I did not watched Steven, Dolf, Jean Claude, and such moves, they were on TV.
I did not watch telley at work at all, read a book :p

not seeing movie nobody wont get what I told and talk about ... trailer gave away much more as I wrote ... and it was not spoiler, I didn't gave up ending and anything.
Justice can be ... bad wife, guy divorces her
guy killed bad mothafuckas
hero gives to media dirty cop faces or political shit
hostages was saved.... missing girl found .... there are planty ways how justice can be saved,

Nothing of those was in this film ...
