well, most of the times peepole don't really care bout the other bands, at least i don't, i mostly like rock al parque cause it's a nice place pa' parchar

As for my absence, I was in Cuba, I arrived around 4 hours ago. Damn! it feels so good to have internet access again... hahahaha

Ok, there are so many things to tell about Cuba that it could be impossible to tell all of it here. It oculd be a reason to do a meeting again!
I was there from 4th-18th october as part of an international brigade of solidarity with Cuba. There were people from the 5 continents, 21 countries, around 220 persons. We travelled all along the island and got to know a lot of cities, local people, hospitals, schools, farms, museums... We also had parties almost every night, drank a lot (Cuban ron costs around 5500 pesos a bottle, so, you can imagine how much people drank there...) There were conferences, meetings with locals, we went to the beach... ahh... that trip was amazing, I'm missing it so much, specially right now since I'm doing a lot of homeworks and have to study for some exams...

As for socialism, well, it's interesting to see it. People aren't rich but they aren't that poor. They get health service and education from the state, as well as subsidies and food. But loans are very low: around US$ 15 per month... That means that cuban people can't go to expensive restaurants, hotels, buy expensive things...

There are some other things to tell but I have to go now. Maybe in Paradise Lost we can meet and there I can tell you more, if you're interested.

Sounds like an awesome trip, man ive always been doubtfull about going to Cuba but maybe someday i guess i have other ´plans ahead.. But man sounds goo and im gald u had fun and drank RUM like a pirate hahaha. As for Paradise Lost yeah we should gather and talk mayb an MS reunion once again hahahah as for me im also planning an awesome trip ill tell you later all about it. all i can say is it envolves an EDGUY concert of which i already bought a ticket

Ooo man was i bummed.... it seems Paradise Lost had the worst time here.. and to be honest so did i for times besides i could see you guys sooo it sucked.. THEY DIDNT EVEN PLAY GREY!!!!! DAMN IT!!!

Well the audience didin't seem very keen on PL... Now I realise, most metalheads here are "brutaleros", didn't you see they screamed more for Masacre? WTF? I really expected more Paradise Lost... but TBH the crouds reaction to them made me feel "pena ajena". I mean, c'mon, they're the fathers of gothic metal! What the fuck is wrong with everyone? Did they only wanted to mosh with br00tal stuff or what? I still had a good time, spite they played for so little time. For shame, for shame...

well actually i was not impressed Colombian metalheads have awfull taste HAHAHA mann do i hate Masacre... People over here if u didnt notice werent even there for the music but i could describe it as follows:

a big part of the population where there to get into the mosh or just be there for nothing.. others were just to see what was up smoke weed and u know take pictures of themselves on R.A.P. and lastly a group of people were there to listen to the music.. Sometimes is better to pay a lil money to see your band because u know everyones there for the same reason.. DAMN am i pissed at R.A.P. this year..

Well, isn't that a little harsh? i can't believe you didn't even know your own country's taste in metal, gothic has never been that popular here, it is still a growing scene, can't be compared with the legions that follow death and black metal, and unfortunately most of those are just "chirris" that will insult everything that sounds a little softer than mayhem or dying fetus
still carcass did an excellent show and it was pretty neat to see micheal amott and daniel erlandsson playing, still waiting them to come with angela gossow some day
