I'm sure they exist, but the only so called 'Nazis' I've met are silly 17 year old high school drop-out skin heads who say things like "Fuck jews" or "fuck n*ggers", except they keep their mouths shut when around jewish people or anyone who isn't white, and generally they are just pretty big pussies with barks worse than their bite....which is no bite. Man I hate skin heads....

Yeah its mostly 1 place in Calgary I see Skinners. Its this park called Ryley Park, its pretty much a park where all the no-life teenage hippies/punks/E-tards/ravers/and occasional metalheads hang out and do drugs and start fights (im glad to say Ive only seen a few metalheads down there). But there used to be hippie drum circles and stuff that used to go on a lot, then the drug use and the constant street fights started drawing the attention of the police. The skinheads would get drunk/high and beat people up when they were in large groups (I saw an unfortunate person of middle eastern descent get jumped just for trying to make friends with some of the white kids, it was sickening). Most of these people all being around the age of 17.

Maybe theres more Nazis in calgary because there was actually a white-power parade in downtown that was actually sanctioned by the municipal government. It was pretty nuts, I was sitting having a coffee when I saw a big clash of protesters, police and white power type people in the middle of downtown. Quite a few people got arrested that day.

Hm that is pretty bad atleast there isn't much of that stuff here that I know of.

So...how is everyone feeling about the upcoming elections? I am voting independant because I think the Liberals are a pile of shit and I know that the NDPs mean well, but they might just be using that as a front...we have a huge conversative sign in our yard but I don't support it...

NDP for me, I'm a very left-wing person. I would be satisfied if the Liberals take it, but I just really want the Conservatives out of power...

@Dr. Rock: That is a good choice. The NDP wants to put money back into our pockets instead of putting money into cooperations. I am voting for an Galganov who is for the whole no more bullshit of Quebec kinda thing...there is obviously more to that but he wants the Canada back that he grew up with...

Yeah, too bad the NDP have no chance in hell out here. Last year even the Green Party beat the NDP in my riding (provincial elections), hell even that nutball Wild Rose Alliance party beat the NDP in a few ridings here, WRA is that insanely right wing party. Being a fairly broke person and coming from a fairly poor family (not below the poverty line but definitely not thriving, not bitching, I'm obviously not that bad off if I'm using a computer), the whole right wing ideals just don't seem right to me. The rent problem is getting so ridiculous out here and the Conservatives have no plan on putting some controls on it, the NDP do. 1200 for a one bedroom basement suite with shared kitchen is common out here now, which is completely fucking nuts. I plan on moving out of my moms house sometime before I die as well as go to post secondary, doing both at the same time seems next to impossible (unless I go into trades, which isn't my thing), Im working full-time right now and I could still probably only afford renting out a single room. The class separation is steadily increasing here and its making me fucking pissed, I've never been so passionate about politics until I realized how fucking shallow the conservative idea is, the only people they benefit is people who are born into rich families.

They also have a distant plan of privatizing National Post, which once again angers me because my dad who is a mail man (or a "posty" as they call themselves) for nearly 30 years could be fucked out of a job. People need to pull their heads out of their asses and start thinking of the people who aren't millionaires, if everyone did that the Conservatives would never win. Long story short, the day people start caring about other people the conservatives are S.O.L. (as much as that sounds like cheesy hippie mumbo-jumbo)

I thought that there was a lot of money out West and that if the rent was high, you made enough money to cover it...the indepedant parties don't seem bad for me to vote for...I'm upper class so I don't really care about voting for the NDP...your comment about the Convervate party is actually geared in my direction because I come from a rich family and my dad is a Conversative voter and we have a few of those big signs on our property...one at the front of the lot and one at the back...

Maybe I was just dreaming today or something but i'm sure gas was at like 84.9 today. I also checked out the band you posted and I must say they sounded pretty good. Since i'm not familiar with Municipal Waste or anything else in this genre it's definitely new to me and sounds original.
