New Album Recommendations 2017
You know the drill, recommend me good metal stuff from 2017. Remember this is not a playlist or promotion place, it should be stuff you have HEARD ATLEAST ONCE which means it is not just stuff YOU think is good but something that OTHERS should find good and enjoy as well. 
Death metal from Portugal. Sounds more closely to Disma than anything else to my ears. Quite melodic and groovy. It's hard to judge anything from a single but yeah this seems like something that is worth keeping an eye on.

New song from upcoming untitled Cult of Fire EP. Gone is the blackgaze sound on the last album and here we have a more thrash oriented straight forward bm approach.

Written by Alex F on 28.03.2017 at 00:21 Smells too much of A Forest of Stars which is not necessarily bad but at times they seem to be trying too hard to get that vibe. The parts that I most enjoyed were where they sort of let go of trying to capture that sound and just grooved. Hope they don't feel the need to force the issue in their next releases as they seem to have the ability to write really interesting music.

Written by Alex F on 28.03.2017 at 19:04 I really enjoyed it as well but is sounded like a demo at some points (especially the first song) rather than a finished polished product, also A Forest of Stars seem to have a better understanding of how to blend the Folkish parts with the Black Metal parts and transitions seamlessly between them.
