I always wondered what was the correct pronunciation for Therion. Is it THerion (TH as in "that" or as is "thing")? Or is it "Zerion" or "Terion?" And how do you pronounce the "e"? Oh shit (just came to my mind), and what about "i"? I have been to their show in Ukraine and I think they didn't say it once... So...

Well, Thomas Vikström in the band is my best friends dad and he pronounces the TH like in "that/thing".

There many dilaects. acents,ewery non english nation speek whit some kind acent ad there always difereny spelling of band name, so if you wont spell it Noireht we all get what you mean

Pronounce it as Queens Reich, that's how the band and almost everyone else pronounces it. So the ch being pronounced as X in phonetic notation, just like one pronounces the ch in Loch Ness, so as a nice guttural.

GoDZIra....it's the Japanese accent pronunciation of the children's character Godzilla....

мгла means fog in Russian....the Polish word should be similar to it.... Ł itself stands for broad L... like in the English word "PULL"...

I was talking to this one guy today and he said he'd like to see the ''Satyricon'' show in December, but he said it like ''Sat-RIE-ICON'' and it just sounded so funny. It's like hearing someone try to use big words, but they either say it wrong or use it out of context.

This is a bit of a funny thread, but I can see the problems though. In Germany the "W" is pronounced "V" so you have Wodka (in English looks like W-O-D-K-A..haha).

There was a guy saying Hypocrisy like Hippo-chrissie here...very weird. I can't think of any names I have problems pronouncing though.

Wisla, Wasrhawa, Piwo, they use moustly doble W, but some cases are single V like Krakovia

Well I'd say Soolstafiir, the o as in wood, the r should be quite sharp and the i should be long... just my guess based on the little Icelandic I've read..
