What Kanada has in common with Suomi other than low temperatures in winter and ice hockey? Speed metal of course if we don't mind the 30 year gap with Exciter and Ranger This is a good classic and also not a total masterpiece.This is just some speed metal for the sake of it.

This album is a fucking beast!

It's strange because I wasn't really aware of the Canadian speed metal bands Exciter and Razor (and to a lesser extent Accept) at the time but I play those 80's releases regularly these days, and they've influenced my love of bands like Midnight, Hellripper, Butcher, Deathhammer, Speed Wolf, etc.

Classic speed metal, no bells or whistles. I don't think this one's as good as the first one, maybe the production is a bit too echo-heavy or something, but this is definitely worth getting if you're into this kind of music. I frigging love the cover art, it looks awesome on LP size, like there's a door in the middle, a crazy metal hoodlum is trying to get out to melt your face with awesome metal music and some poor Karen, your mother or Tipper Gore are desperately trying to keep it hidden inside, but to no avail.
