Anyways, much like the other post, I don't care for any of those drummers, so I vote other with Neil Peart as my #1, and post my top 3 for everyone else to enjoy.

This topic is to to laugh with! Ulrich never studied drums. I don't realy understand why he should be here.
I see there drummers who play for thrash and death metal drums. Where are drummers of Kreator, Slayer, Death ....???

Learning about this guy and watching a few video made me realize that Flo Mounier might have the speed but he's also very boring. Derek Rody as well is basically just a speed drummer.

Buddy Rich is where it's at.

What kind of options are that? omg slipknot ,iron maiden ,and metallica are just ok if your question is about the list i would say Chris Adler

but there are many great ones like Terry Bozzio,Neil Peart,Mike Mangini,Thomas Lang,Mike Portnoy,Dany Carey and Yoshiki from X Japan he is so creative plus the piano stuff and writer

Lars, Nicko, Joey? wtf? i know they play in those great bands but they are not that good, they just do their part. what happened whit Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) or Scott Travis (Judas Priest)?

Btw i voted for Fredrik Andersson who i considered the best option.

Going with the choices I have then I'll go to Fredrik Andersson, recently saw them live and the drums kicked ass... but there are great drummers left behind, Dave Lombardo, Hellhammer, Krzysztof "Doc" Raczkowski(RIP)...

Out of that list I would have to go with Fredrik, but their are a whole lot of great drummers out there that could out play and out time any of the people on that list. Especially when it comes to Lars. I am supprised that he even has 4 votes on here. Shame on you people who voted for him

Plenty more of course. I guess its worn out by now saying how much better drummers there are out there than the ones listed for the poll. I'm sure a lot of those drummer you have in the vote poll could be extraordinary drummers with limitless knowledge outside their bands, but they play the basics in the bands they are in. And that isn't interesting.

I suppose if "Other" wasn't an option, I'd probably pick Chris Adler, or just over look the poll.

I choose Niko from the list, but no drummer can match Dream Theater's Mike Portnoy he is in a league of his own

Out of the list Andersson is my personal fav, hes wicked live and recorded, though Adler would be a close second since i really enjoy the drumming in LoG. *Sarcasm On* I MEAN LARS YAY! GO LARS YOU ARE SKILLed and da best DRUMMA EVER *sarcasm off*

Bobby Jarzombek, Hellhammer and Sean Reinert are probably my top 3.

Slipknot? WTF?! Anyway, Yanic Bercier (ex-Quo Vadis) is definitely my favorite.

I'm surprised to see Neil Peart not on the poll. He's badass. Dude makes 20 minute drum solos look easy

Kyle Severn who used to drum for Incantation. Very, very good single foot blasts and a tight live performance.

And, as everyone else seems to think -- the fact that Lars is on this list made me laugh quite heartily. Have you seen his live stuff lately? He can't even play "One" live anymore.

Lars Ulrich and Joey Jordison do NOT belong on a thread like this. No doubt Joey Jordison as a drummer is quite talented, but isn't up to Par with alot out there. And lars Ulrich, well, imo he's just a punk drummer who can play fills.

In my opinion, one of the best drummers out there is Mike Portnoy from Dream theater. I mean, anyone who can play ghostnotes at like 330 BPM is insane...

My vote for Hellhammer

Jukka Nevelainen and Felix Bohnke are pretty cool too though

The more i think about it i would have to choose Sean Reinert his work on Human and With Cynic is amazing.
