I know maybe its lil to early, since its be in 2010 february, but soon there gonna start winter sport season
You can reed more
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Winter_Olympics
http://www.vancouver2010.com/

I also know its nots ame like summer olympic games, so those who never had live din winter, probobly care less for games but still

I just cant wate for this event, even its be in fucked up hours of night so , probobly I gonna watch in re play or day events(here late eve) , moust I cant wate for hockey, because its be ebst hockey tournament in planete, I hope Sweden will defend gold medal, its shame Mats Sundin end carear and Peter Forsberg thinking play or not, we still have Daniel and Henric Sedin , Daniel Alfredson, Fredirc Zeteberg, Patric Berglund, Nicklas Backstrom, Henric Lundquest, Mikeal Samuelsson, Tomas Halmstrom etc so I suppose and hope for gold, but I wont be mad if Canada win, I wanna see in semies Sweden, canada, Czceh(or USA) and Finland,

I also looking forvard for Alphine Skiing, Biathlon, Bobsleight, Cross-country skiing and luge.

Those are winter sports what I enjoy moust

Sweden will get medals, same like norway, finland, well Latvia I doubt we will have any but we can try hard in bosleight and luge, only where I see objective fight for medals, sorry no biathlon we wont get there, so

I dont wanna talk about athletsm line ups etc, to long time, but still we can discuss thinks like I gonna watch, wont watch, like, dont like etc ...

I know what was in the past, but more than any other sport, the actual skills differs so much from season to season...one year Jakub Janda won WC, second year he was hardly making it into second round...one year Sven Hannavald won all races of 4 hills tournament, second year he ended in hospital for mentally ill people...

i know there are guys like Roman Koudelka, but i have no news about our current performances...

Russia say roster for hockey team in OG

Somehow IIHF are angry whit Rus because they shood do it today whyle Canada and other countries has time till 2. january
Wjachesdlav Bykov was mad whit it because he sad Canada and other will try find best team to stop us
Well some way its unfair IMO , because all shood say roster in one date , but maybe IIHF is borderd whit Rus ''not follow to IIHF rules ''

Goalkeeper:
Ilya Bryzgalov(Pheonix Coyotes), Evgeni Nabokov(San Jose Sharks), Semyon Varlamov(Washington Capitals)

Defenders:
Sergei Gonchar(Petsburg Penugins), Denis Grebeshkov(Edmunton Oilers), Dmitri Kalinin(Salavat Yulayev Ufa), Konstantin Korneyev(CSKA Moscow), Andrei Markov(Montreal Canadians), Ilya Nikulin(AK Bars Kazan), Fedor Tyutin(Columbus Blue Jackets), and Anton Vonchenkov(Ottawa Senators0

Forvards:
Maxim Afinogenov(Atlanta Trashers), Pavel Datsyuk(Detroit Red Wings), Sergei Fedorov(Metalurg Magnitagorsk), Ilya Kovalchuk(Atlanta Trashers), Viktor Kozlov(Salavat Yulayev Ufa), Evgeni Malkin(Pitsburg Penguns), Alexei Morozov(AK bars Kazan), Alexander Ovechkin(Washington Capitals), Alexander Radulov(Salavat Yulayev Ufa), Alexander Semin(Washingtonm Capitals), Danis Zaripov(AK Bars Kazan), Sergei Zinoviev(Salavat Yulayef Ufa)

Well where is Alexey Jashin, Darius Kasparaitis, Sergey Zubow, Shushinsky, Carev

All players are picked from the two arguably best leagues in the world with 14 NHL players and 9 KHL players.
Sergei Gonchar will play his fourth Olympics. It will be the third Olympic Games for three six players (Bryzgalov, Markov, Afinogenov, Datsyuk, Fedorov, Kovalchuk).
Salavat Yulayev Ufa has most players on the team with Dmitri Kalinin, Viktor Kozlov, Alexander Radulov and Sergei Zinoviev. Also the coaching tandem, Vyacheslav Bykov and Igor Zakharkin, comes from Salavat.
Eight players have won both the 2008 and 2009 World Championships: Grebeshkov, Kalinin, Korneyev, Nikulin, Kovalchuk, Morozov, Radulov, Zinoviev.

Personaly i think Rus weekest part is defense, because only star what I can mention Sergei Gonchar, ok they have NHL players in defense to, but they is no ''stars'' and those who play in Rus I might have hear names but still russian players who dont play in NHL is strangers for me

fuck Radulov

Forvards well they are good top classes player its like 65-35 because no doubt ofense is bets what Rus have, but might all stars play well togehter? Might those who play in khl can use to NHL fields abd normal referee since rus referies sometimkes sovietze game and see fauls where they are and where are dont see and dont understand what is punch of face and whats power play

Remeber I post about Bellarussia team:
Here is facts
Mikhail Zakharov is the newest coach from all Olympic hockey teams. He was hired in November to succeed Glen Hanlon, and had his first exhibition games with Belarus in mid-December.
Belarus will be one of the few teams to have brothers on the team with Andrei and Sergei Kostitsyn, who also play together at the Montreal Canadiens.
Veterans Andrei Mezin and Ruslan Sergei are the only players to represent Belarus in all three Olympic Winter Games participations (1998, 2002, 2010).
Seven players come from the same club, Dynamo Minsk, the Belarusian entry in the Russian Kontinental Hockey League.

The rosters will be announced on the following dates:

Belarus
December 23

Russia
December 25

Sweden
December 27

Latvia
December 29

Norway
December 29

Slovakia
December 29

Canada
December 30

Czech Republic
December 30

Finland
December 30

Germany
December 30

Switzerland

He has broken all records last season and in some years he will be the jumper with the most wins, no doubt about that! So, what else he has to do to become the best jumper of all time? Imo Ahonen was the best before Schlierenzauer, but that's all

it is like C. Ronaldo in football or Crosby in hockey - they are great now, but saying "Ronaldo is best ever", "Crosby is better than Gretzky", this is now ridiculous...

Finaly it has hepened Bang Aku Gusstafson calls team Swe roster for Olympic games, will Sweden defend gold?
Who was stronger Swe 2006 or 2010? Well Mats Sundin was 2006
But still goalkeeprs is weekest part in Swe hockey

Ok goal:
Jonas Gustavsson(Toronto Maple Leaves), Stefan Liv(HV71 Jönköping), and Henrik Lundqvist(NY Rangers)

Defenders: Tobias Enström(Atlanta Trashers), Magnus Johansson(Linköpings HC), Niklas Kronwall(Detroit Red Wings), Nicklas Lidström(Detroit Red Wings), Douglas Murray(San Jose Sharks), Johnny Oduya(New Jersy Devils), Henrik Tallinder(Buffalo sabres) and MATHIAS ÖHLUND(Tampa Bay Lightnings)

Forvards: Daniel Alfredsson(Ottawa Senators), Nicklas Bäckström(Washingtown Capitals), Loui Eriksson(Dallas Stars), Peter Forsberg(MoDo Örnsköldsvik), Tomas Holmström(Detroit Red Wings), Patric Hörnqvist(Nashwille Predators), Fredrik Modin(Columbus Blue Jackets), Samuel Påhlsson(Columbus Blue Jackets), Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin(both Vancouver Cunucs), Mattias Weinhandl(Dinamo Moscow), and Henrik Zetterberg(Detroit Red Wings)

facts:
Nicklas Lidström and Daniel Alfredsson are on the roster to play their fourth Olympic Winter Games.
Sweden is the nation with most European players in the NHL. 19 players from the preliminary rosters come from the NHL, three from the Swedish Elitserien, one from the Russian KHL.
When Sweden announced the roster on December 27, four of the key players were injured: Kronwall, Alfredsson, Forsberg and Zetterberg.
13 players from the provisional roster won the gold in Turin 2006.

My comment:
All players is stars here all play main roles in NHL , ALL not fiew , Ok Omark and Harju, well theya re to week for OG even are good players , IMO biggest mistace was play in KHL Dinamo Moscow, better try get in NHL because KHL is nothing in Sweden even Allsvenskan is higer standarts here, and NHL firts then elitserien and allsvenskan , so and Mattias Weinhandl in team well he show tricks, in Rus realy maybe best sweed there , others ehhh tehy are level belove NHL and only 2 players from Elitserien and one is well know star Peter Forsberg also Magnus Johansson, ok goaly from HV71 , we have no good goalies, but still whit this team where be NHL referies NHL ice ring size, NHL players will play key role, I havnt seen other team rosters, but from Rus and Bellorus Rus is much weeker and not all players in Rus are stars whit names, but bellruss are child in adult company .... Tomy Salo LoL it wont hepen anynore

Im happy about Mattias Öhlund, born in Piteå, start his carear there then in Luleå and NHL, lock out yera Luleå and after bck in NHL, maybe best player ever who played in home town team , Linus Omark and Johan Harju might be if faster goes to NHL, Mats Lavander, carl Fabricuss is good for secend team and Luleå youth system n team will sing a song in future

Norway:
Goal: Pal Grotnes(Fredrikstad), Andre Lysenstoen(HeKi Heinola, FIN2)and Ruben Smith(Storhamar Dragons)

Defense: Alexander Bonsaksen(MoDo/Swe), Jonas Holos(Farjestad Karlstad, SWE), Tommy Jakobsen(Lorenskog IK)
Juha Kaunismaki(Stavenger Oilers),Lars Erik Lund(Valarenga Oslo), Ole Kristian Tollefsen(Pfiladelfia flyers)
and Mats Trygg(Kolmner Haie/Ger)

Forvad:Mats Zuccarello Aasen(MoDo), Morten Ask(Nuerberg Ice Tigers/Ger), Anders Bastiansen(Farjestad),
Kristian Forsberg(MoDo), Mads Hansen(Brynas/Swe), Marius Holtet(Farjestad), Mathis Olimb(Frolunda Gothenburg),
Martin Roymark (Frolunda Gothenburg), Per-Age Skroder(MoDo), Lars Erik Spets(Valarenga), Patrick Thoresen(Ufa/Rus),
Tore Vikingstad(Hannover Scorpions/Ger) and Martin Laumann Ylven(Linkopings HC, SWE)

facts: Defenceman Tommy Jakobsen is the only player with Olympic experience. The 39-year-old played in Norway's last Olympic hockey tournament on home ice in Lillehammer 1994.
Head coach Roy Johansen was part of the 1992 Olympic team. He also participated in 1984 and 1988.
Twenty-one players on this roster were on Norway's team at the 2009 World Championship. There is one big absentee: veteran defenceman Anders Myrvold. This former NHLer (Colorado, Boston, New York Islanders, and Detroit) was not put on the list for Vancouver 2010.
The Swedish Elitserien continues to be the most popular destination for the best Norwegian players. Eleven players come from Swedish top-league teams, followed by the Norwegian league (6) and the German DEL (3). Norway will use one player from each of the following: the NHL, the KHL, and Finland

How Noray can be week if 9 play in Ellitserien some familliar faces and I like MoDo and 5 MoDo players and Farjestads ex Se Champions(they play weeker this year), team can fight

Slovakia:
Goal:Peter budaj(Colorado Avalanche), Jaroslav Halak(Montreal Canadians), Rastislav Stana(Severstal Cherepovets, RUS)

Defenders: Zdeno Chara(Boston Bruins), Milan Jurcina(Washington Capitals),Richard Lintner(Dinamo Minsk),
Andrej Meszaros(Tampa Bay Lightnings), Andrej Sekera(Buffalo Sabres), Martin Strbak(MVD/Rus),

Forvards: Lubos Bartecko(HC Bern/Suisse), Martin Cibak(Spartak Moscow), Pavol Demitra(Vancouver Cunucs),
Marian Gaborik(New Yourk Rangers), Michal Handzus(LA Kings), Marcel Hossa(Dinamo Riga)
Marian Hossa(chickago Black Hawks), Tomas Kopecky(Chicago Blackhawks), Zigmund Palffy(HC Skalica),
Branko Radivojevic(Spartak Moscow),Miroslav Satan(no team), Jozef Stumpel(Barys Astana,/Kazahstan) and
Richard Zednik(Lokomotiv Jaroslav)

Facts:
Twenty players come from two leagues: 12 from the NHL and 8 from the KHL. One player comes from a Swiss club. Zigmund Palffy is the only player from the Slovak Extraliga, while free agent Miroslav Satan has yet to play his first game of the 2009-2010 season.
Only two NHL players were not added to the roster: Marek Svatos and Boris Valabik.
Miroslav Satan will play his fourth Olympic Games in Vancouver. For Lubomir Visnovsky, Lubos Bartecko, Pavol Demitra, Marian Hossa and Jozef Stümpel, it will be the third Olympics.
Defenceman Martin Strbak has played the most games for the national team (146), while Miroslav Satan has scored the most goals (70).
Chicago forward Tomas Kopecky has never played for the men's national team before. The last time he represented Slovakia was in the 2002 World U20 Championship.
Eight players on the roster won the 2002 World Championship in Sweden: Rastislav Stana, Richard Lintner, Martin Strbak, Lubomir Visnovsky, Lubos Bartecko, Zigmund Palffy, and Josef Stümpel.

My Comments: I would like see Ladislav Ob?ut in team, but aslo if Peter Bondra would jot end his cearer, whit this line up Svk can fight for medals, if no then I dont know what, they shood be in 1/4 final if they wont then they shood stop plating
Latvia, Bellarussia, Norway , danmark is weeker and IMO those 4 teams wont play for medals

He is great, no doubt about that, but he was pretty lucky today, it was his 1st good jump this season (moreover Schlierenzauer has problems with his stomach as far as I heard). Trivia:
The Czech Republic won the historic 1998 Olympic hockey tournament in Nagano. That was the first time the NHL took a break for the biggest winter sport event. Twelve year later, one player from '98 remains on the Czech team: Jaromir Jagr.

It will be Jagr's fourth Olympic Games. Tomas Kaberle, Pavel Kubina, Petr Cajanek and Patrik Elias will appear in their third Olympics.

Nine returning players were on the team that won bronze in Turin 2006. Twelve represented the Czech

Republic in the 2009 World Championship.
Most players on the team (16) come from the NHL. Five are from Russia, and two from the Czech Extraliga, including league scoring leader Roman Cervenka.

my comment:
Well somehow team is good but will hey win only what I cant say mising is Jan Marek, Zbynek Irgl, Ladislav Nagy and Ladisolav Kon but those are not stars, even if Jan Marek wont listen his wife and play in NHL who knows

Team Finland;
Goal: Niklas Bäckström(Minnesota Wild), Miikka Kiprusoff(Calgari Flames),Antero Niittymäki(Tampa Bay Lightnings)

Defense: Lasse Kukkonen(Avantgard Omsk(Rus)),Sami Lepistö(Pheonix Coyotes), Toni Lydman(Buffalo Sabres),
Janne Niskala(Frölunda Gothenburg/Swe), Joni Pitkänen(Carolina Huricanes), Sami Salo(Sami Salo), and
Kimmo Timonen(Pfiladelfia Flayers)

Forbard: Valtteri Filppula(Detroit Red Wings), Niklas Hagman(Toronto Maple Leaves), Jarkko Immonen(AK Bars Kazan),
Olli Jokinen(calgari Flames), Niko Kapanen(AK Bars Kazan), Mikko Koivu(Minesota Wild), Saku Koivu(Anahaim Ducks),
Jere Lehtinen(Dallas Stars), Antti Miettinen(Minnesota Wild), Ville Peltonen(Dinamo Minsk/Bel),
Jarkko Ruutu(Ottawa Senators), Tuomo Ruutu(Carolina Hurricanes) and Teemu Selänne(Anahaim Ducks)

Trivia:
Forwards Jere Lehtinen (1994, 1998, 2002, 2006) and Teemu Selänne (1992, 1998, 2002, 2006) will play in their fifth Olympic Winter Games. It'll be the fourth time for Kimmo Timonen, Saku Koivu and Ville Peltonen.

Peltonen has played the most international games (243) and scored the most goals (78) for Finland.
The team looks quite different from the 2009 IIHF World Championship squad. Only six players on the Vancouver 2010 roster played in that tournament.

Fourteen players from Turin 2006 will get another shot at winning the first Olympic gold for Finland. Four years ago, they settled for silver with a painful loss to Sweden in the final.
Finnish coach Jukka Jalonen had plenty of choices for his Olympic roster. He chose to go with 18 NHLers, four players from the Russian KHL, and one from Sweden.

My comments:
Good tea shood be in 1/2 if lucky also in Final, might win, I wish those who play in kHL, be in NHL, KHLis bad think for statistics

Trivia:
Germany's roster features seven players from North America (6 NHL, 1 AHL), while the other 16 players come from the German league.

Only two NHL players were not included, but are on the reserve list: Jochen Hecht and Christoph Schubert.
Sven Felski has the most international experience with 140 national team games, including the 2006 Olympics and nine World Championships.

Seven players on the preliminary roster represented Germany in Turin 2006, while 10 played in the 2009 World Championship.

My comment:

Martin Plüss(Bern), Kevin Romy(Lugano), Ivo Rüthemann(Bern), Raffaele Sannitz(Lugano),
Julien Sprunger(HC Fribourg-Gottéron) and Roman Wick(Kloten Flyers)

Trivia:
Switzerland is relying on a young defence corps. Four defencemen are 24 years of age or younger and have a combined experience of three World Championships.

Switzerland is the only country that has players from the 2010 World U20 Championship on its Olympic roster, with blueliners Roman Josi and Luca Sbisa.

Sixteen of the 23 players play in the Swiss National League A, followed by the NHL (2), AHL (2), Russia (1), Sweden (1) and the WHL (1).

Two Canadian-born players are not part of the team. Paul DiPietro and Ryan Gardner were not included, but there's a new Canadian-born player. Hnat Domenichelli is the only roster player that is not Swiss-trained.

Eighteen players were on the team that represented Switzerland at the 2009 Worlds on home ice in Berne, while 10 players participated in the 2006 Olympics

my coment;
