For me it between Dickinson and Halford... I voted for Halford from your list of "traditional" metal singers... Seasoned veterans would be a better description because all of the singers are so different in their own right... and all amazing in their own right.

Bruce Dickinson, but man King Diamond is missing from there and his voice is phenomenal too.
Rob Halford screams cannot be matched and Lemmy is a damn good vocalist too.
I wonder if Dave Mustaine and James Hetfield should be on that list as Megadeth and Metallica are thrash bands, and i suppose this is a Traditional Metal(Heavy) Voice Poll.

You're wright ist traditional metal pool and thrash band vocalists shood not be here because its traditional metal and thay are guitarists and singers, like lemmy but he is still bass in band, but those guys shood not be here thay can eb replaced whit for example John Oliva and Saxon vocalists, but Lemmy shood be, ebcause we all know Motorhead how Heavy band, but alos Ian Gillan its heavy too

Funny, I always considered his voice to be the weakest thing about the band - well, at least in the albums I have owned. (Peace Sells, Rust in Peace and the two after it)... I listen to a lot of punk bands with some pretty bad vocalists from Jello Biafra's warble to Fat Mike's "Weird Al" voice and they don't annoy me as much as dave's voice.

The thing with Dave's voice is it's origional, and you know he never had any vocal instruction which makes it appealing to some (I'm one).

But I voted Halford because of the fact that dog's cringe when they hear his voice, it's actually true I've tried it.. haha.. And I saw him live a year ago and he can still rip out those high notes in his forties or fifteis (I don't know).

my personal favorite is Halford!
the way he goes so high and then low again... GOD!!!!!

Dio, Dio, Dio. No one else comes close.

lemmy, with dio in a close second. but overall i think lemmy has a far more distinct and unique voice, even though technically dio is far more skilled.

Despite putting overrated Udo, Eric Adams (Manowar) would be listed! I am a Judas Priest fan but We must admit that Eric is a scream god!! and better than holy Rob Halford

Whaaaatt??? No one can beat Halford in scream contest!!! Eric Adams is quite good but have you heard Victim of Changes or Dreamer Deceiver, and The Sentinel live from Molson Amphitheater is great too!!!

And off course John Cyriis (ex Agent Steel). Nobody, really nobody can beat him in screams.... Even not Rob Halford and Eric Adams...

I agree because Dave Mustaine and james Hatfield shood ebvreplaced whit even King Diamon, because its ''classic meta; voice'' ok maybe Metallica and Megadeath nowdays counts there but its not that kind of metal

Bruce Dickinson for sure. He is very charismatic,
is the best singer of them and has a great live
performance!

I'll go with Bruce...he is a great singer. (well i think all of them are great singers) but i really like his style.Maiden was the first metal band i listened to.
Someone mentioned Rata Blanca's singer (Adrian Barilari), he's a great singer! i see him as an argentinian Bruce Dickinson I even think they look alike, anyway it's good to know that argentinian bands are known out there

Bruci is my favourite too.His epic voice seems to have no boundries.But i have to admit that dio's voice is glarious too

Bruuuuuce.... Dickinson!!!! Check if you're thinking of vocalists you like, and vocalists that are proffesional(are better).
Great clean voice, superb range, and he gives a great feeling.
