What... December !? I've heard this one's coming on current quarter... It seems that I was wrong.

When a precise release date is yet to be announced, it is automatically set as "december" on MS. So do expect this on the first quarter

This may just be the greatest Summoning album ever made - its got the catchy Stronghold riffs, the atmosphere of the older albums and a lot more 'world' inspired instruments. The percussion is extremely well done this round.

Of Pale White Morn is where it's at. At least for now.

Finally got my copy today !! Great album, possibly among my favorites by them, totally has a Minas Morgul/Dol Guldur vibe with a certain sound update that wasn't necessarily a bad one.... Now just have to wait 2020 for the next one !!!

I apologize in advance if this is a silly question, but what's the deal with the special editions? In other words, since I didn't pre-order, can I still get the edition WITH the two bonus tracks, because I absolutely need that one. And I hope you're wrong about 2020. Maybe they're fast this time and it'll be 2018 when the next album gets released.

Damn, still have to buy LMHSYF and this one (Lugburz too, but already listened to that one enough on Youtube). After that, a "best to worst" list is bound to be made by me.

Bonus tracks are indeed the deal of pre-orders ! Coz as far as I know, you can only get them from the boxset or the vinyl (I got the green edition one.. others were already sold out ).
It's a shame everything got sold out very fast yet you see quite a few copies flying around ebay for ridiculous amounts (I know this always happens, but gets me mad...).

Maybe you might get another chance, as they are going to release some leftover songs from OMD session but no idea about the tracklist...

Fantastic album, everything you would expect from Summoning is on this album. SOLID 9/10.

Awesome album, "The Wandering Fire" and "With Fire and Sword (Bonus Track)" are my favorites. Worth the wait.

Yeah, "With Fire And Sword" is one of the best track on the album. I'm curious why it is "just" bonus track.

Seems like I'm basically the only one that can't get into this album at all. Tried two listens and all it did was make me sleepy. Can't put my finger on what it is exactly that is stopping this from appealing to me, but its just not clicking. Whole album just seemed super repetitive to me, and while the layered instruments are neat the atmospheres just don't resonate with me like other atmospheric bands.

you will get into it, trust me (that is if you like Summoning music at all)! I had the same thought about this album after first few listens, I felt it repetitive and flat, but then it suddenly clicked and I can't stop listening it. Give it few more tries and you'll see the magic...
