I think 8 is fair and a really good rating for this album, I'm stunned by this album considering what went on while working on it, just comes to show their level of professionalism and the ambitions each member has for the band. Few really good songs here and there and a remarkably enjoyable listen, I can't say that about many bands in this genre sadly.

I expected something more from them.. something more close to their 1st or 2nd album. but i find this one better than liberation-termination so i hope that this one is a step closer to the right direction. Dead Wings of Hope is by far the best song of the album and then comes Bringer of Light.

Their lyrics have always been weak, but the riffs are still solid. My biggest dissapointment here is I feel that they took a big step back with the vocals. There was an increased variety on Liberation=Termination. On this album it's pretty much all that trade-mark Finnish squelch a la Ensiferum.
