I wonder why didn't anyone say Horgh's name? Drummer of Immortal? Does that ring any bells? I Don't know statistics, but have you ever heard any of Horghs drumm solos? Amazing how fast someone can be, not to mention his tehcnique. So my vote is on HORGH THE INCREDIBLY FAST!

I vote for Aquiles Priester of Angra. He is insanely fast with the double kick. I saw him in his tours promoting the mapex drums. He has an amazing good tecnic and its the fastest drummer that I've listen to.

Anybody ever heard Agoraphobic Nosebleed? AHHH that gives me a headache it's so fast.

Also Flo Mounier from Cryptopsy, not only can he play ridiculously fast but he has a great "jazzy" drum technique

Either way, it probably comes down to Flo from Cryptopsy. He does something like 800 or 900 beats per minute, which is goddamn amazing.

That's right, Aquiles Priester is an awesome drummer, very fast and technical. I saw Angra live, he did some soli : really impressive
Jorg Michael has the same style of playing.
Inferno is also very fast.

I'll got with Inferno or maybe Flo Mounier.....they are really awesome......

Most Technical: Mike Portnoy of Dream Theatre
The Best: Raymond Herrera of Fear Factory

I would have to say Hellhammer of Mayhem, Dave Lombardo of Slayer or Inferno from Behemoth.

Think its Hellhammer of Mayhem. Dont like band so much but their drummer is really fast.
Maybe what I like most is Slayers. They have awesome drummer.

Whether you like him or not, Joey Jordison form Slipknot is one of the fastest.

I didn't realize just how fast Richard Christy was till I watched the bonus dvd that was with "Sound Of Perseverance".At least it sounded and seemed he had fast feet and alot of technicality.

IMO Hellhammer is the best drummer, fast complex drumming and plays for amazing bands (Mayhem, Arcturus, Thorns, Dimmu Borgir). Other very good drummers are: Reinert from Cynic, he also played in Human of Death, also Hoglan who is the second most amazing thrash drummer after Lombardo, Van Williams of Nevermore, because he plays with a very unique way and of course Frost from Satyricon and Horgh from Immortal and Hypocrisy are really great. There are also many other drummers that are so great like Portnoy, Mazurkewicz, Trym, Sessa and many more.

other amazing drummers are: Hogland(Srapping Young Lad) , Williams (Nevermore), Mazurkewicz (Cannibal Corpse) as also Kollias (Nile)

yea igsactly lots o ppl hate jordison but all in all he is one of the fastest i should know i saw him live...

for feet fastness tim watterson set the world record with 1407 so for feet he is but all around i would haveto say either frost, flo or derek roddy, all around drummer tho derek pwns all

tim yeung is the fastest. inferno, doc (r.i.p.), hoglan, mournier are all exceptionally fast, but reinert from cynic is god, also, last but not least, steve jacobs of forbidden. if you can find their last cd GREEN, you will be pleasantly impressed!

It seems like a lot of people are talking more of personal preference for how good the drummer is, not his speed. I would have to say the dude from The Berzerker, but the people that hold the records obviously must be the fastest, if they hold the records.

John Bonham ( R.I.P. ) was great and probably the fastest on the world and even on space He had incredible performances with simple drumsets if we compare with the opportunities of current drummers.He was also the first to build and play double bass playing
