Here is something really refreshing and great. A whole bunch of genres mixed together, done well. I hear atmospheric/post black, sludge, crust, hardcore and doom. Now you try...

The above is pretty good. Not as good as True Widow though! Circumambulation is not quite as heavy and doomy as As High As... but it's still great. Very Codeine-inspired, with that lovely, fluffy Kyuss guitar tone.

"Our tales?innately woven of psyche and chemical life?are spun of the black flax from the darkest chasms of the Multiverse. Join us in ultimate celebration of the wildest energies of and beyond simian imagination". Translation: The music is loud as fuck...

Collaboration of musicians from bands I've never heard of. This project might make me check those bands out. Post/sludge/atmospheric metal.

Černá - Restoring Life
One of my favourite releases of the year...instrumental atmospheric post-metal/sludge. Makes it nice ambient with somehow captivating and profound sound.

Don Caballero (really wacky instrumental post-rock, not necessarily displayed on this song):
This is off their first album. Take a look into their works and you'll see what I mean by wacky. I guess they would be more accurately labeled as experimental/avant-garde but there is that post-rock flavor as well.
Polvo (this is a shot in the dark but I think some of you might like this):

Take a look at this. Their second album, released in 2007, fell into my hands today. Post prog rock/metal/hardcore & ambient. Beautiful, menacing, refreshing:

I like the sample. Sounds a bit like crust punk too. Keep 'em coming

Didn't like the first teaser. It's along the lines of BitterCold's statement : SSDB (same shit different band)
I did like the second, a bit of noise rock to clear the sinuses

Listen to the whole and you'll hear a lot more here. Their music is quite varied. Lots of instrumentation (including flutes, piano, cello, etc) with a good, versatile vocals.
In a word - a really interesting atmo post-cocktail
