Depends on who you talk to. Some places say the ch should be silent, and some say they should be spoken. In either case, the th is spoken like a t. In the case of pronouncing the ch, it would be pronounced like a k.

So either "tonic" or "ktonic".

Well, actually they say ktonic but they have "sha" pronunciation in it. I mean it looks to me. In many Chthonic interview, interviewer started up saying "ch" tonic which is simple as the words go.

It's always pronounced as either k-thonic or thonic So not ktonic/tonic

Just look it up in the oxford english dictionary

And you'll see that it should be pronounced as ˈ(k)θɒnɪk

So, the ch in chthonic is not a schwa sound at all. But is actually a voiceless plosive k

Even though I know lloads of people in the real world who enjoy talking about metgal I never worry about how to pronounce Chthonic because I don't like the band and neither do the people I talk with about metal
