Ausie film about gay act, kicking, love to woman, and betraid a bastard who supose to be best mate in past inmate.


Dead Wish - I wish Willis was original, and Bronson was re make. It cant be close to Bronson original. Bad, but good idea, seems Willis are lazy and plays in bad movies at his age.
I like idea, I like Vigilante, it gives people hope to safe live, specially in EU where laws are bad, we need guys whit a gun who cleans a streets from gangs whit a kill shot.

Heist - De Niro is old and film about tricks, plaining and taking... my kind a movie, I am fasniated to money, I love millions, I want to have and well to me dont matter how I get it , I adore it.

Hooligans at war north vs south
British lov lives and so on, what can I tell, even I like to wtach hooligans fight and beating each other whit sticks n hammers, I dont want to be there. I hate fair play, if muscle man attacks, use knife. Fair play are that men is like in 80's no muscle manowarior, just ordinary trained men.

Isolation - Nice film, nice scenario, place ist like paradise, I wish it was in Sweden and I never should work, i had a millions.

Saw quite a few good films at the weekend.

The Eyes of My Mother was fairly fucked up, though spared the potential brutality in favour of arty aesthetics and minimal dialogue. About an isolated girl whose family dies and does some questionable things for company. The story was super-simple but I liked it a lot.




Wind River I didn't pay too close mind to until my girlfriend told me to pay attention as it was good. It was fairly slow going but quite an effective flick that wiki describes as a "neo-Western murder mystery," which I guess does make sense. Underlying message about native American disappearances and victims and how they go overlooked by the government, framed in a fairly straightforward murder mystery.




Antibirth was one that I think will be taste dependent. A well done indie film that's described as a "psychedelic body horror comedy" film, which again is pretty accurate. The narrative is kinda floaty and even aimless, but I think that's because it focuses on habitual daily drug and alcohol use, which does eventually feed into the story. I liked the grotty punk aesthetic visuals and the main character and eventual silliness of it.




Cam was quite a surprise though. We were scraping the bottom of the Netflix barrel and was expecting a generic slasher. but it turned out to be a slightly surreal, psychological / techno thriller. For a film about cam girls it didn't feel at all exploitative and did fairly well at maintaining a suspensful atmosphere, even if the ending was kind of unbelievable, although I guess it was analogous to ideas of identity in the cam girl industry. But yeah, pretty decent compared to what I was expecting it to be and given the high critic score and relatively low IMDB score I'm guessing most people were expecting a murder-fest.




I was also subjected to Venom as well. It's not as bad as the Deadpool films but it was not good. Tom Hardy seems to be unilaterally awful in everything he's in.

I haven't but it's got Jeff Bridges in so I will probably will make some sort of effort to watch it

Yeah it was pretty good. Still not quite sold on Chris Pine as an actor in general but his brother's actor definitely picked up the slack. Casually racist Jeff Bridges definitely won the show though.

Honestly didn't even realize Chris Pine was in it. Don't know if that means he did a good job or a bad one. It's also been about two years since I've seen the movie though, so I mostly remember Jeff Bridges as he did indeed steal the show.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - this is testament to why films exist. Godly acting from a great cast, engaging story, both funny and moving. Arguably a little bit overly comical at points from a critical perspective, but from an entertainment perspective I have nothing bad to say about this film.

I saw it at the weekend for the first time. Enjoyed it as well. It was only afterwards when thinking about it that I noticed it has so many holes in the plot, without spoilers I can't say what they were, but they were pretty large. One thing in particular would have made the ending make more sense.

Nothing immediately jumped out at me, but I was watching it more as a character narrative rather than a plot-intensive one. I didn't think the ending required more sense for it to work, unless I misunderstood it. [SPOILER] It was just a moral quandary whether or not to murder someone who had ostensibly done some heinous things, as a sort of replacement sense of closure for personal strife.

Martin McDonagh is probably my favourite filmmaker working today. I don't care if he takes four or five years per film, it has been consistently worth it so far.

PLOT: After escaping an attack by what he claims was a 70-foot shark, Jonas Taylor must confront his fears to save those trapped in a sunken submersible.
It is a good movie and the end is awesome. Worth the watch! 7/10!

2. A Quiet Place (2018)
PLOT: A family is forced to live in silence while hiding from creatures that hunt by sound.
Totally enjoyed this one and I pray they make a sequel! 8/10

Avengers: Endgame

Some clever, entertaining moments scattered here and there, but mostly a rather "meh" conclusion. It's not a bad film by any stretch, but it's also no Infinity War.

I recently watched "spider man: into the spider verse". I was skeptical going in as I'm super burned out on super hero films and I'm not huge on cartoons, but the show surprised me and I enjoyed it.

This thread should be re-titled "K7 Blames Troy for Everything Wrong in His Life"

I watched Midsommar with some friends in theaters a month or so ago. I don't know what the critics or reviewers are saying about it but we all thought it was awful, and we all went in with an open mind knowing full well Ari Aster had a clear and distinctly different vision from Hereditary.

It's the only movie I went to see in theaters all year. I wanted to leave halfway through but I was convinced to stay. It was so awkwardly comedic and inane at points that the entire audience was wiping tears from their eyes. There was also a family who for some reason brought their very young daughter to the show and acted all upset after when we saw them in the parking lot, as if they expected it to be fucking Toy Story 4 when you knowingly brought her to an R rated movie. Idiots.

Anyway, it was supposed to be some artistic perspective of occultism and folkloric traditionalism and hive/herd mentality and all that, subtly brushing on Sweden's ancestral communal practices, etc etc etc... And artistically speaking, it was brilliant. The cinematography was fantastic, the dialog was realistic-ish, the attention to incredibly minute detail was second to none. But the actual story was incredibly dull, even for a "slow burn", and the acting was sub-par at best leading up to the conclusion. Whether or not you judge it as or go in expecting a horror film, I will say the only horror elements are rare instances of decent gore and terrible character decisions. Otherwise it's essentially a self-fellating art piece about a bunch of naive college kids traveling the world in hopes of being inspired to write a dissertation and some typically (and atypically) weird shit happens when they come across a cult.

Based on remake 2017 IMO, I have seen boat, 1th was better, but I like us horror movies about small towns in mid west, this was OK, some died, some lived, but ending was not as I hoped, because I hoped Part III when pensionares will run the show...
